1. Hitchhiking in the modern world?
If you’ve ever dreamed about strutting down the runway during one of the most highly-publicized fashion shows of the year, then New York City is going to help you partially indulge in that fantasy. From November 19th through to the 30th Victoria’s Secret’s SoHo store will be displaying nine different sets of wings that have been worn by models like Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima, and giving passersby the opportunity to pose in front of them and have their picture taken. The photos will then be uploaded to the Victoria’s Secret Facebook page so you can share them with friends.
This is a cool thing just launched in Washington where commuters use their smart phone or computer to
search in real time for people who are doing a similar commute so they can ride share. It is an avego app that connects you with similar. You pay the driver based on how many miles you travelled via direct
debit. You are then rewarded for doing this at the end of the month with vouchers etc. Nice idea but you
might want to be a morning person!

2. TROPICANA: YOUR DAILY RAY OF SUNSHINE
Each execution depicts a different day of the working week. Stunningly simple, the bright and visually engaging artwork reflects the optimism of the Tropicana brand, using a
different pep-talk mantra each day to encourage the reader to think positively about
the day ahead, and attack it in a Tropicana way.

This Is a really cool experiment that Tim Burton ran at the end of last year. Basically he
crowdsourced a twitter tale – encouraged followers to submit the next tweet to the story
and the best ones every day were added to the feed to build a lovely crowdsourced twitter story. This is a really interesting way of using
Twitter….have a read!

4. COCA-COLA: BORDER
This Wieden + Kennedy, Portland Super Bowl commercial tells the story of two soldiers from rival
nations who are able to put aside their differences for the briefest of moments as they share a bottle of
Coke.

C 5. Heineken give back
There is a new trend emerging called the ‘million Fan Thank you’ where advertisers give
back once they receive a million likes on facebook. here Heineken sent out a hug team in Amsterdam the day they reached the big one million, a group of really good looking
girls giving hugs – what a treat for the men of Amsterdam and a nice way of celebrating!
