Warranty CertificateFor:______________________________________________Application:________________________________________igus®, Inc. warrants all igus components of the Energy Chain System® mentioned below, such as igusEnergy Chain® or Energy Tube cable carriers, igus Chainflex® cables and/or pneumatic hoses, igusChainfix® strain relief components, igus guide trough systems with igus installation kits, and the work-manship provided through the igus harnessing service. This warranty excludes all non-igus materials,such as non-igus cables, hoses and connectors.

In the case of a failure of the Energy Chain Systemor one of its components, igus reserves the rightto visually inspect the Energy Chain System, in order to determine the root cause of the failure. If thefailure is caused by one or more of the components mentioned above, igus will supply a new compo-nent to replace the faulty component, free of charge (shipment FOB). This warranty excludes costsfor labor and downtime that may occur as a result of the failure of any igus component.

Incorrect installation of the Energy Chain System (non-compliant with igusʼ recommendations) and/ordamage through physical impact with the Energy Chain System, i.e. falling objects or collision withobjects, will invalidate this warranty.

igus reserves the right to visually inspect the Energy Chain System for approval of installation, prior toinitial operation, on prototypes, pre-production and production versions of the machine mentionedabove. In order for the warranty to go into effect, correct installationof the Energy Chain System and compliance with the applicationparameters mentioned on the reverse must be confirmed by an igustechnician on-site through signing this warranty certificate.

The warranty period is ________ months after date of igus invoice or _______________ cycles, whichever comes first.
