About the Editors:George Lekakos is an adjunct lecturer at the Department of Management Science and Technology, Athens University of Economics and Business, Athens, Greece and a visiting lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, University of Cyprus. He holds a BSc in mathematics (Greece), an MSc in software engineering (UK), and a PhD in intelligent media (Greece). His research interests include interactive television applications, digital content management, human-computer interaction, and machine learning with emphasis on the design of personalization algorithms.

Konstantinos Chorianopoulos holds an MEng (Electronics and Computer Engineering, 1999), an MSc (Marketing and Communica-tion, 2001), and a PhD (Human-Computer Interaction, 2004). Since 1997, he has been a member of four academic research labs (Greece, UK, Germany), which specialize in the areas of multimedia, e-commerce, intelligent systems and interaction design. He has participated in many European Union (EU) research projects in the field of human-computer interaction (HCI) for information, communication, and entertainment applications in TV, mobile, and ubiquitous appliances.

For the last ten years, Professor Doukidis has led the ELTRUN Research Group (www.eltrun.aueb.gr) , one of the largest and most innova-tive research and development groups in e-Business in European Business Schools, with 35 researchers and ten current large European projects with more than 40 research and development groups. The expertise of ELTRUN spans the whole ranges of new economy applications and ser-vices, from digital interactive television to knowledge management and from mobile commerce business models and strategies to employment studies in the Information Economy.
