INTERNATIONAL FUEL TAX AGREEMENT

Do you know how someone becomes a Board Member and who decides who is on the board?

Any commissioner of a member jurisdiction, or their designee, is eligible to serve as a Trustee.

All nominees for the Board of Trustees will be voted upon by the member jurisdictions at the Annual Business

meeting.

Do you know how many Board Members are allowed and how long their term lasts?

There shall be nine (9) Trustees on the Board.

The term of office for a Trustee shall be two (2) years.

No Trustee may serve more than three (3) complete two-year consecutive terms.

IFTA Board Roles/ResponsibilitiesThe Board oversees the business affairs of IFTA, Inc. including:

1.Attending/participating in quarterly meetings held at the IFTA, Inc office

2.Participating in conference calls as required.

3.Organizing/participating in the IFTA Annual Business Meeting.

4. Acting as liaisons for IFTA committees & jurisdictions.

7. Reviewing/updating the IFTA, Inc. Strategic Plan.
