He is a Witness over every thing

( 7 ) سورة األرعاف

رسلني فلنسألن ال ذين أر ن عليهم بعلم وما {6}سل إليهم ولنسألن ال فلنقص {7}كن ا غآئبني

Thus (on the day of Judgment) We will most certainly call to account all those to whom We sent Our Messengers, and We will also ask the Messengers (how the people responded to them). Then We Ourself will recount to them with Knowledge (all their doings); for We were not absent from them.

( 43) سورة سبأ

شيء شهيد ۔۔۔ {77}وهو عل كل He is a witness over everything.

( 11 )سورة هود

شيء حفيظ {77}إن رب عل كل Indeed my Lord keeps watch over everything.

( 6 ) سورة األنعام

شيء وكيل {201}وهو عل كل He is the Guardian of all things.

Allah’s Knowledge in the light of the Holy Quran

There is not a leaf that falls from a tree but He knows about it; there is

not a grain in the darkest bowels of the earth of which He is not aware

( 4 )سورة آل عمران

ال ي ماء إن الل ركم ف {7}ف عليه شيء ف األرض وال ف الس هو ال ذي يصو {6}األرحام كيف يشاء ال إلـه إال هو العزيز الكيم

Nothing in the Earth or in the heavens is hidden from Allah. It is He Who shapes you in the wombs of your mothers as He wills. There is no god but He, the Al-Mighty, the All-Wise.

( 11 ) سورة يونس

ماء وال أصغر ۔۔۔ ة ف األرض وال ف الس ثقال ذر ب ك من م وما يعزب عن ر {62}بني من ذلك وال أكب إال ف كتاب م

And nothing is hidden from your Lord (so much as) the weight of an atom, in the earth and the heavens, neither less than that nor greater than that, and everything is on record in the clear Register.

He alone has the keys of the "unseen", of which none has the knowledge but He. He knows all that is in the land and in the sea; there is not a leaf that falls from a tree but He knows about it; there is not a grain in the darkest bowels of the earth of which He is not aware; everything fresh and dry has been recorded in an open Book . It is He Who recalls your souls at night and knows what you do during the day; then next day He returns you to your usual work to complete the fixed term of your life. At long last, you shall all return to Him and He will let you know what you had been doing.

( 77 )سورة الحديد

It is He Who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then rose over the Throne. He knows whatever ever goes into the earth and whatever comes out of it, and whatever comes down from heaven and whatever goes up into it. He is with you wherever you may be and sees whatever you do. To Him belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and all matters are referred to Him for decision It is He who causes the

night to enter into the day and the day to enter into the night and He knows the hidden-most secrets of the hearts.

( 11 ) سورة يونس

ميع العليم ۔۔۔ ا هو الس يعى ج ة لل {67}إن العز Honor wholly rests with Allah. He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

(31) سورة فصلت

ن أكمامها رات م اعة وما ترج من ث وما تمل من أنثى وال إليه يرد علم الس {77} ۔۔۔۔تضع إال بعلمه

To Allah is referred the knowledge of the Hour. He alone knows all the fruits that come out from their sheaths: He alone knows which female has conceived and which has given birth.

ها ومستودعها كل ف رزقها ويعلم مستقر وما من دآب ة ف األرض إال عل الل بني {6}كتاب م

There is no moving creature on the earth whose provision is not due from Allah: He knows its dwelling place and its repository. Everything has been recorded in an open register.

( 8 ) سورة األنفال

ا يييكم واعلموا كم ل سول إذا دعا وللر يا أي ها ال ذين آمنوا استجيبوا لل رء وقلبه وأ يول بني ال {17}ن ه إليه تشرون أن الل

O Believers, respond to the call of Allah and the Messenger, when the Messenger calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah comes in between a man and his heart, and that to Him you shall be gathered.

(31) غارف سورة

دور {25}يعلم خائنة األعني وما تفي الص Allah is aware of the treachery of the eyes and even of the secrets that the breasts keep hidden.


{203}ل طيف البري ال تدركه األبصار وهو يدرك األبصار وهو ال No sight can grasp Him but He grasps all sorts of sight, for He is All-Comprehensive and All-Aware.

( 43 ) سورة الزمر

شيء وكيل شيء وهو عل كل خالق كل ماوات {61}الل له مقاليد الس أولئك هم الاسرون واألرض {63}وال ذين كفروا بآيات الل

Allah is the Creator of everything and over every thing He is the Guardian. To Him belong the keys of the treasures of the heavens

and the earth; and the losers are only those who disbelieve His Revelations.

( 71 ) سورة ق

نسان ونعلم ما توسوس به نفسه ونن أقرب إليه من حبل ولقد خلقنا ال {26}الوريد

And indeed We have created man, and we know every idea that arises in his heart: We are even closer to him than his neck-vein.

( 67 ) سورة الملك

دور وا قولكم أو اجهروا به إن ه عليم بذات الص أال يعلم من {23}وأسر {27}خلق وهو الل طيف البري

Whether you speak secretly or aloud it is same for Allah): He even knows the secrets of the hearts. Would He not know, who has created? He is the knower of subtleties and is All-Aware.


كم وجهركم ويعلم ما ماوات وف األرض يعلم سر ف الس وهو الل {3} تكسبون

He is the same One Allah in the heavens as well as on the earth: He knows all that you make known and all that you keep secret and is fully aware of the good or evil that you earn.

(34 )سورة الزرخف

هم و {00}نواهم بل ورسلنا لديهم يكتبون أم يسبون أن ا ال نسمع سر Do they think that We do not hear their secret talk and their whisperings? We hear everything and Our angels at their sides are recording it.

(3)سورة النساء

وهو معهم إذ يبي تون ما يستخفون من الن اس وال يست خفون من الل ا يطى ا يعملون م ب {200}ال يرض من القول وكان الل

They might hide their evil deeds from the people but they cannot hide these from Allah: He is with them even when they hold at night such secret consultations as do not please Him; Allah encompasses all that they are doing.

( 78 )سورة المجادلة

وى ثلثة إال ماوات وما ف األرض ما يكون من ن يعلم ما ف الس ألم تر أن الل سة إال هو سادسهم وال أدن من ذلك وال أكثر إال هو معهم أين ما هو رابعه م وال خ

شيء عليم بكل ا عملوا يوم القيامة إن الل {7}كانوا ثم ينب ئهم بAre you not aware that Allah has the knowledge of everything in the heavens and the earth? It cannot be that three men whisper together and Allah is not the fourth of them or five men whisper together and Allah is not the sixth of than. Whether they are fewer than this or more, Allah is with them wherever they are. Then, on the Day of Resurrection, He will tell them what they have done. Allah has the knowledge of everything.

بعباده لبري بصري ۔۔۔ ( 47) سورة فارط {32}إن الل Allah is indeed well aware of His servants, and watchful over everything.

( 47) سورة فارط

ا وما تم ن تراب ثم من ن طفة ثم جعلكم أزواجى خلقكم م ل من أنثى والل ر وال ينقص من عمره إال ف كتاب إن عم ر من م وال تضع إال بعلمه وما يعم

يسري {22}ذلك عل الل Allah created you from dust, then from the sperm-drop, then made you pairs (i.e., male and female). No woman conceives or delivers (gives birth) but it is in the knowledge of Allah. No aging person grows old nor is anything reduced of his age but is in a Book this is an easy thing for Allah.

( 74 )سورة النجم

غفر ن األرض وإذ أنتم أجن ة إن رب ك واسع ال ة هو أعلم بكم إذ أنشأكم م ق ن ات وا أنفسكم هو أعلم ب هاتكم فل تزك {31}ف بطون أم

Surely your Lord is of vast forgiveness. He knows you well from the time He produced you from the earth and when you were yet embryos in your mothers' wombs. Therefore, do not claim piety for yourselves: He alone knows best who is really pious and God fearing.

( 14 ) سورة الرعد

يعلم ما تمل كل أنثى وما تغيض األ رحام وما تزداد وكل شيء عنده الل قدار تعال {0}ب هادة الكبري ال لم الغيب والش ن أسر {5}عا سواء م نكم م

لن هار لل يل وسارب با {20}القول ومن جهر به ومن هو مستخف باAllah knows what every female bears in her womb: He is fully aware of what is taking shape in the womb and also what decrease or increase occurs therein. Everything has its fixed measure with Him. He has perfect knowledge both of the visible and the invisible. He is the Great and the Supreme Being. It is same to Him whether One of you whispers or speaks aloud or one hides oneself under the cover of the darkness of night or walks about in the broad day light.

( 41) سورة لقمان

ماوات ن خردل فتكن ف صخرة أو ف الس ا إن تك مثقال حب ة م يا بن إن لطيف خبري إن الل {26}أو ف األرض يأت بها الل

(And Luqman had said:) "My son, even if a thing be equal to a grain of mustard seed and hidden in a rock, or in the heavens, or in the earth, Allah will bring it forth. He is Knower of subtleties and is All-Aware.

( 46 ) سورة يس

موا وآثارهم وكل وت ونكتب ما قد {21}شيء أحصيناه ف إمام مبني إن ا نن نيي الWe shall certainly one day raise the dead to life. We are recording all the deeds they have done and also that which they have left behind. We have preserved everything in an open Book.

( 17 )سورة الحجر

يت ونن الوارثون وإن ستقدمني {13}ا لنحن نيي ون ولقد علمنا الستأخرين وإن رب ك هو يشرهم إن ه حكيم {17}منكم ولقد علمنا ال

{17}عليم It is We Who give life and death and We will be the inheritors of all. We have full knowledge about those who lived before you, and We are keeping watch over their successors. Most surely your Lord will gather them together for He is All-Wise, All-Knowing.

( 71 ) سورة ق

جيد نهم فقال {2}ق والقرآن ال بل عجبوا أن جاءهم منذر م أئذا متنا وكن ا ترابىا ذلك رجع بعيد {1}الكافرون هذا شيء عجيب

{7}قد علمنا ما تنقص األرض منهم وعندنا كتاب حفيظ {3}Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an! -Nay, but they wondered that a Warner from among themselves had come to them. So the disbelievers said, "This is indeed a strange thing: when we are dead and have become dust, (shall we be raised up again)? Such a return is far from reason.” (Whereas) We know very well whatever the earth consumes of their bodies, and We have a Book which preserves every thing.

( 13 ) سورة مريم

ا ن عبدى ح ماوات واألرض إال آت الر لقد أحصاهم {53}إن كل من ف الس ا هم عد ى ا {57}وعد مة فردى {57}وكل هم آتيه يوم القيا

All those who are in the heavens and the earth, are going to be presented before Him as servants, for He has encircled them and kept a strict account of them; everyone will be presented before Him individually on the Day of Resurrection.

( 78 )سورة المجادلة

ا فينب ئهم ب يعى ج شيء يوم يبعثهم الل عل كل ونسوه والل ا عملوا أحصاه الل {6}شهيد

The Day when Allah will raise up all of them again, and will tell them what they had done. They have forgotten it but Allah has kept a' full record of all their deeds, and Allah is witness over everything.

{71}ال يضل رب وال ينس ( 01) سورة طه My Lord neither errs nor forgets.

( 13 ) سورة مريم

{67}له ما بني أيدينا وما خلفنا وما بني ذلك وما كان رب ك نسي ىا ۔۔۔To Him belongs all that is before us and all that is behind us and all that lies between, and your Lord is never forgetful.

( 43) سورة سبأ

Praise is for Allah alone Who is the Owner of everything in the Leavens and the earth, and the praise is for Him alone in the Hereafter, too. He is the All-Wise, the All-Aware. He knows whatever goes into the earth and whatever comes out of it; and whatever comes down from the sky and whatever ascends into it: He is the All-Merciful, the All-Forgiving. The disbelievers say, "How is it that the Resurrection is not coming upon us?" Say, "By my Lord, Knower of the Unseen, it shall certainly come upon you. Not an atom's weight of anything is hidden from Him, neither in the heavens nor in the earth, nor anything smaller than an atom nor greater than it: everything is recorded in a clear register.”

Allah alone has the knowledge of the Hour: He alone sends down the rain and He alone knows what is taking shape in the wombs of the mothers. No living being knows what he will earn the next day, nor does anybody know in what land he will die. Allah alone is All-Knowing, All-Aware.

( 07 ) سورة النمل

وما من غائبة ف {77}وإن رب ك ليعلم ما تكن صدورهم وما يعلنون ماء واألرض إال ف كتاب م {77}بني الس

No doubt your Lord knows fully well what they keep hidden in their breasts and what they reveal. There is no secret thing in the heavens and the earth, which is not recorded in a clear Book.

( 4 )سورة آل عمران ف علي ال ي ماء إن الل ركم ف {7}ه شيء ف األرض وال ف الس هو ال ذي يصو

{6}األرحام كيف يشاء ال إلـه إال هو العزيز الكيم Nothing in the Earth or in the heavens is hidden from Allah. It is He Who shapes you in the wombs of your mothers as He wills. There is no God but He, the Al-Mighty, the All-Wise.


ماوات واألرض وإليه يرجع األمر كل ه فاعبده وتوك ل عليه وما غيب الس ولل ا تعملون {213}رب ك بغافل عم

Everything that is hidden in the heavens and the earth is in the power of Allah and everything shall return to Him. So, serve Him and put your trust in Him, for your Lord is not unaware of what you are doing.

( 01 ) سورة طه

ماوات وم وإن تهر {6}ا ف األرض وما بينهما وما تت الث رى له ما ف الس ف ر وأخ لقول فإن ه يعلم الس اء السن {7}با ال إله إال هو له األس {0}الل

He is the Owner of all that which is in the heavens and the earth and all that which is between them and under the soil. Whether you utter your supplication in a loud voice (it makes no difference) for He hears not only what is said in a low voice but also what is kept most

secret. He is Allah: there is no god but He; all the excellent names are for Him.

ذي علم عليم ۔۔۔ ( 10)سورة يوسف {76}وفوق كل And there is the One Whose knowledge is far greater than the knowledge of all others.

( 47) سورة فارط

ماوات واألرض لم غيب الس عا دور إن الل {30}إن ه عليم بذات الص Surely, Allah is aware of every secret thing in the heavens and the earth: He even knows the hidden secrets of the breasts.

ا من دآب ة إال هو آخذ بناصيتها ۔۔۔ ( 11 )سورة هود {76} ۔۔۔م There is no living creature which He does not hold by its forelock.

(67 ) سورة الطالق

ل األمر بينهن لتعلموا اوات ومن األرض مثلهن يتزن ال ذي خلق سبع س الل قد أ شيء قدير وأن الل عل كل ا أن الل شيء علمى {21}حاط بكل

Allah is He Who created seven heavens and of the earth also their like. His Command descends among them. (This you are being told) so that you may know that Allah has power over everything, and that Allah's knowledge encompasses all.

دور عليم بذات الص {13}عملوا إن الل Whoever surrenders himself to Allah, and is a doer of good, he has indeed taken hold of a reliable support and the ultimate disposal of all affairs is in the hand of Allah. As for the one who disbelieves, let not his disbelief grieve you. To Us they have to return; then We will tell them what they used to do. Most surely Allah knows the hidden secrets of the breasts.

( 03 ) سورة النور

ماوات واألرض قد يعل ما ف الس م ما أنتم عليه ويوم يرجعون أال إن لل شيء عليم بكل ا عملوا والل {67}إليه فينب ئهم ب

Beware! whatever is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah. He knows whatever you are doing. On the Day you shall return to Him, He will let you know what you have done: He has full knowledge of everything.

( 64 ) سورة المنافقون

ا تعملون ۔۔۔ خبري ب {22}والل Allah is well aware of what you do.

( 14 ) سورة الرعد

ا كس نفس ب وهم أم أفمن هو قآئم عل كل شركاء قل س بت وجعلوا لل ن القول ا ال يعلم ف األرض أم بظاهر م {33} ۔۔۔تنب ئونه ب

What! are they (so audacious that they are) setting up partners with Him Who is watching minutely over the actions of each and every soul? O Prophet say to them, "(If God has Himself set them up as His partners) just tell me their names. Do you mean to inform Him of something new that He Himself is unaware of on His earth? Or do you merely utter empty words?

( 73 ) سورة الحرش

حيم ن الر ح هادة هو الر لم الغيب والش ال ذي ال إله إال هو عا {11}هو الل He is Allah besides Whom there is no god. He is the Knower of the unseen and the seen. He is the Compassionate and the Merciful.

( 4 )عمران سورة آل

ماوات وما ويعلم ما ف الس قل إن تفوا ما ف صدوركم أو تبدوه يعلمه الل شيء قدير عل كل {15}ف األرض والل

O Prophet, warn the people to note it well that Allah knows whatever is in your hearts whether you hide it or reveal it, for He knows everything that is in the heavens and in the earth and He has full power over all things.

He hears everything and is - near at hand

( 2 ) سورة البرقة ال إلـه إال هو الي القي وم ال تأخذه سنة وال نوم ماوات وما ف الل ل ه ما ف الس

األرض من ذا ال ذي يشفع عنده إال بإذنه يعلم ما بني أيديهم وما خلفهم وال ماوات واألرض وال ا شاء وسع كرسي ه الس ن علمه إال ب ييطون بشيء م

{177}يؤوده حفظهما وهو العلي العظيم Allah: the Everlasting, the Sustainer of the whole Universe; there is no god but He. He does neither slumber nor sleep. Whatsoever is in the heavens and in the earth is His. Who is there that can intercede with Him except by His own permission? He knows what is before the people and also what is hidden from them. And they cannot comprehend anything of His knowledge except whatever He Himself pleases to reveal. His Kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth and the guarding of these does not weary Him. He alone is the Supreme and the Exalted.

( 07 ) سورة النمل

ع الل وء ويعلكم خلفاء األرض أإله م ضطر إذا دعاه ويكشف الس ن ييب ال أم ا ت رون قليلى م {61}ذك

Who is it Who listens to the oppressed one when he invokes Him, and Who relieves him of his affliction? And (Who is it Who) makes

you vicegerents (successors) in the earth? Is there besides Allah another god (to do this)? How little you reflect!

( 2 ) سورة البرقةاع إذا دعان فليستجيبوا وإذا سألك عبادي عن فإن قريب أجيب دعوة الد

{206}ل وليؤمنوا ب لعل هم يرشدون And if My servants ask you, O Prophet, Concerning Me, tell them that I am quite near to them. I hear and answer the prayer of the suppliant, when he calls to Me. So let them respond to My call and believe in Me. Convey this to them, O Prophet; perhaps they may be guided aright.

(31) سورة غارف

أستجب لكم إن ال ذين يستكبون عن عبادت وقال رب كم ادعون {60}سيدخلون جهن م داخرين

Your Lord says: "Call upon Me. I will answer your prayers. Those who disdain My worship on account of pride, will certainly enter Hell, disgraced.”

( 2 ) سورة البرقة {271}فاذكرون أذكركم واشكروا ل وال تكفرون

So remember Me and I will remember you, and give thanks to Me and do not be ungrateful.

ود أخاهم صالىا قال يا قوم اعبدوا ن إلـه غريه هو أنشأكم وإل ث ما لكم م الل ن األرض واستعمركم فيها فاستغفروه ثم توبوا إليه إن رب قريب م

يب {62}م And to Thamud We sent their brother Salih. He said "O my people! worship Allah: you have no other Deity than He. It is He Who has created you from the earth and made it a living place for you. So ask His forgiveness and turn to Him in repentance. Most surely my Lord is near at hand and answers prayers.

{70}يع قريب إن ه س ۔۔۔ ( 43) سورة سبأ He hears everything and is - near at hand.

ميع البصري (31) سورة غارف {76}إن ه هو الس He hears everything and sees everything.

عاء ۔۔۔ ( 13 ) سورة إبراهيم {35}إن رب لسميع الد Indeed, my Lord hears all prayers.

O Believers…!

( 7 ) سورة المائدة

ن ضل إذا اهتديتم إل الل كم م يا أي ها ال ذين آمنوا عليكم أنفسكم ال يضر ا كنتم تعملون ا فينب ئكم ب يعى {207}مرجعكم ج

O Believers, look after your ownselves; it can do no harm to you, if anyone else goes astray, when you yourselves are on the right path. To Allah will you all return: then He will let you know what you have been doing.

( 2 ) سورة البرقة

كاة لة وآتوا الز وأقيموا الص ن خري تدوه عند الل موا ألنفسكم م وما تقد ا تعملون بصري ب {220}إن الل

Establish the prayer (Salat) and pay the Zakat (obligatory charity), you will find with Allah whatever good you send forward for your future; Allah is watching everything you do.

من عباده العلماء ۔۔۔ ( 47) سورة فارط ا يش الل {10} ۔۔۔إن The fact is that only those of His servants, who have knowledge, fear Allah.

And on the Day of Judgment…

( 01 ) سورة األنبياء

وازين القسط مة فل تظلم نفس شيئىا وإن كان مثقال ونضع ال ليوم القياف بنا حاسبني ن خردل أتينا بها وك {77}حب ة م

On the Day of Resurrection, We will set up just and accurate balances so that no one will be wronged in the least in anyway; even if it be an act equal in weight to a grain of mustard seed, We will bring it forth (to be weighed) and We suffice for reckoning.

(31) سورة فصلت

عكم وال أبصاركم وال جلودكم وما كنتم تستتون أن يشهد عليكم سا تعملون ال يعلم كثريىا م وذلكم ظن كم {11}ولكن ظننتم أن الل ن الاسرين كم فأصبحتم م {13}ال ذي ظننتم برب كم أردا

When in the world you hid yourselves while committing crime, you never thought that your ears and your own eyes and your own skins would ever bear witness against you. Rather you thought that even Allah had no knowledge of many of your deeds. This same thought that you had concerning your Lord, has ruined you, and on the same count you have incurred loss.”
