CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

Since March the club has taken all precautions as directed by Orders of Governor along with those mandates issued by Hillsborough County. In fact, we have taken measures beyond what was expected and we continue to do so. As most know, we were quoted by a state official as being a “poster child” for the precau-tions that businesses should undertake especially in the spectrum of dining, frontline service staff and high volume public areas. We continue to do this every day. As of September we could have placed 100% of our seating into the dining areas. We have not done that yet. Our seating in main dining areas is approximately 75% so that we may maintain a safer, healthier and acceptably distanced experience for all. We have continued the application of electro-static sprays to the entire interior of the club-house on a weekly basis. We continue to have frontline service staff wearing masks. Masks for Members is optional/personal choice. We continue to clean high touch points through-out the day. Hand sanitizer is available at the front entrance and at the restroom entrances. Hand wipes are provided to diners both before and after seating. As we begin each new phase of our missions on the road back to setting new standards and progresses we continue on our quests to not only succeed; but to go above and be-yond expectations. The March 2020 edition of The Current focused on “change” and was ironically written in February. A point was made that “change turns new into old again”. In our mind, “old” refers to a return to new normalcies to which we stay ahead of the curve.

RIVER HILLS CARES goal is to raise funds to offer Lithia Springs Elementary School staff a holiday luncheon with special thank you gifts. 100% of the netproceeds will go towards this effort. RIVER HILLS CARES was able to donate over 1,000 meals to professional healthcare teams at two hospitals last spring. This effort was lead by the great generosity of our giving membership. RIVER HILLS CARES is a mission of outreach by River Hills Country Club to give back to our local community. The vision of River Hills Cares is to recognize, thank and offer support to those that care, serve and protect the needs and services of River Hills and our general community.

Dear Members: The club is the host for this benefit tourna-ment. This is an opportunity for hundreds of our Members to get involved through business support, sponsorships and enter-ing a team. Many of you have children at LPES. We especially hope you will join us in thanking the entire staff at the school. Our plan is to host a luncheon and offer a ll a gift certificate for the holidays they can use during the holidays. We anticipate the majority of players will be resident golfers. This is a great chance to get out in front of your neighbors to for you market insurance, tax preparation, real estate, medical services, restaurants, financial services, childcare and other business you may own or work for in our area. This additionally helps build the culture of River Hills as a community. Teachers hold our futures in their hands with the education of future leaders. We think they deserve some thanks; especial-ly this year!

GOLF OPERATIONS CHANGE THIS SATURDAY 10.10.20 As fall approaches we are making some modifications to the schedule. These alterations will offer greater opportunities to practice and offer a higher level of service in our operations. • The Golf Shop will close Tuesday - Sunday at 5:00PM through February 2021 • Range balls may be obtained from the outside golf staff as follows: * October - range balls available until 6:00PM/Range closes at 6:30PM * Your cooperation with closure time is appreciated so staff can set up for next day * November through January - range balls not available after 5:00PM/Range closes at 5:30PM * Daylight Savings Time ends on November 1 - clocks turned back 1 hour • Sundays in October through February - The range will close at 3PM so range is clear for cutting

Monday mornings • Golf cars will be offered after 5:00PM at full and applicable fees. • Members will need to provide their Member number to the outside staff for balls or golf cars

MEN’S MEMBER - GUEST NOVEMBER 5 - 7

As of today, the entry list is almost 2/3 full. We anticipate a burst of entries over the next 7 days as Members commit to the event. It has a limited field and a wait list will be developed. The amount of teams is a strict number with no added teams once full. Don’t wait too long…..you may not get into the premier golf event of any year. Don’t be “that guy” that whiffed.
