DOCUMENTS REQUIRED → BRING THE ORIGINAL AND PHOTOCOPIES

1 •Passport (copy of all written, stamped pages and visas)

2 •Visa passeport/talent chercheur

3 • Birth certificate (see page 3&4) ►Original copy + the translation in French language

4 •Marriage certificate (see page 3&4) if necessary ►Original copy + the translation in French language

5 •Online appointment confirmation e-mail (print-it)

6 •A signed letter of application including your full contact details (see page 2)

7 • Proof of address not older than 3 months ► You must bring 1 documents:

1 – A bill dated from within the past 3 months (water, gaz or electricity bill, no self-phone bill) 2 – House Insurance certificate dated from within the past three months

► If you live in a university residence hall: residence certificate dated from within the past 3 months ► If you are staying with a host: the occupant must provide a supporting letter confirming the accommodation details and that you are able to stay with them (attestation d’hébergement) + a bill in dated from within the past 3 months (water, gaz or electricity) or house insurance certificate + copy of his/her own identity card

8 •Convention d’accueil (hosting agreement) ►Signed and stamped by the host institution & by the prefecture 9 •Work contract ► ATER contract, contrat doctoral, CIFRE contract… it must be related to the thesis research written on the hosting agreement

10 •Three colour passport sized photographs: (cf : page 4&5)

Each birth certificate must be translated into French by a sworn translator certified by the court of Appeal and present on the current year’s official list of sworn translator However, countries signatory to Convention no.16 of the International Commission on Civil Status can provide multilingual birth certificates, thereby avoiding the need for translation.
