If you do not have an account:

1. Go to turnitin.com

2. Click on “create account” in the top right corner of the page.

3. On the next screen, do not enter any information in. Instead, scroll down and click “Student”

under the “Create a New Account” Section.

4. Enter your User information. Use the chart below to find the Class ID and Class enrollment Key

for your class period.

3rd 3rdperiod 17175052

5. Once the information is entered, click agree to the terms and conditions, and then take the final

steps to create your account.

6. Once in turnitin, you should be able to see your class period with my name as the instructor.

If you already have an account:

1. Go to turnitin.com and login

a. If you forgot your password, click “forgot password” and follow the steps to

retrieve/reset your password.

2. Once logged in to turnitin.com, click “add class.”

3. Enter the information that corresponds with your class period below.

3rd 3rdperiod 17175052

4. Once you have added the class, you should be able to see your class period with my name as the

instructor.

How to submit an assignment on turnitin.com

1. Login to turnitin.com

2. Click on my class

3. Locate the assignment you are turning in, and then click submit.

4. Follow the step by step instructions for how to submit

a. In the top drop down menu, you can select “upload” or “copy and paste”- select upload.

b. Then select how you will upload your document: google docs, drop box, or from

computer.

c. Finish and finalize your submission.

5. You will receive a confirmation in your email of your submission. Should your submission

“miraculously” disappear even though you submitted it on time, your email will serve as your

proof.
