As part of our ongoing assessment to meet the needs of the whole child, we a r e u s i n g the Ages & Stages Question-naire Social E m o t i o n a l (ASQ-SE). This is a p a r e n t /guardian completed questionnaire and is focused on self-regulation, compliance, communication, adaptive behaviors, autonomy, affect, and interaction with people. These questionnaires will be used as a planning tool to meet each child's needs and goals. If your child attends the Pre-k at the school, please ask your teacher to share your assessment with SACC. This will save
your time from doing it again. Thank you
If you did not get a chance to schedule a family conference and would like to, please see Jen to set up a time.
What's changed We have made some recent changes to our daily schedule and separation of our 3 year olds and 4 year olds. This change will allow us to focus more on children individually and guide their learning more intentionally. Tracy will be the primary teacher for the 3 year olds while Maxine, Rachel and Jen will work together with the 4 year olds.
Have you seen our
playground? W e h a v e a n a w e s o m e n e w bicycle track! We will have wood chips delivered next week with a new climbing dome.
Thursday, November 21st we will be having a family
feast during lunchtime. Please join us if you can. More information to come.
