3004.8 Draft Development The Table of Contents was reviewed. The sections of the Draft were reviewed. Volunteers for Task Group leaders and reviewers/writers were noted in each section of the latest draft. The latest draft (showing task groups) will be posted to the mentor web site area for 3004.8. Other items discussed are below:
References – consider footnotes or endnotes for old document, or possible Table (annex).
Low voltage 1000 V; conforms with NEC proposals.
Reference for Red Book, talk with Peter Sutherland for new standard locations.
NEMA MG-1 latest 2011
Base Book – TBCC- Chapter 2, Clause 2.2.1.8 (draft) Medium Voltage reference up to 34.5 kV as medium voltage.
Multifunction – anit-reversal feature can lockout the system (consider a note). Program the thermal limit curves; smart relays that learn the curves.
Convention: Put kW in main text and (hp) next to the kW value.
If allowed, put NEMA reference on mentor site for ASD applications. Next Meeting The next meeting will be on November 5, 2012 at Schneider-Electric, Houston, TX.
