IE Browser- User Manual (For Windows PC)

1. How to Log in to Camera on IE Note: This camera does not support view on Chrome, Firefox and Safari Download the search tool from our website. www.zivif.com > Support > HI Series. Run the search tool “IPWizardIII_2.2.5(English)” to search for the camera IP address. Example below. Note: The camera and PC should be on the same network

Double click on the camera’s IP address to open it in the IE interface.

1. Please input camera Username (default ‘admin’) and Password (default ‘admin’) to log in.

2. A pop-up window says “download ActiveX control”, please accept, download and run it.

3. Refresh the browser page and the live video should appear.

Note: 1) Since this Player is an activex plug in, most of the anti-virus programs on your PC will detect it as virus and stop it from installing. Please note, this plugin is not a virus and will not cause any damage to your computer. You need to install it and allow it to run, to be able to view the camera live. 2) If the player did not install successfully, please search your PC or the web for Microsoft Visual Studio_32-bit. Download and install it. 3) If you can not log into IE, please check if that the camera’s IP address and PC are on the same subnet and network.

2. Overview of the camera interface menus. Browse > View: In view mode, user can set the stream type, size, mode and color. PTZ control and PTZ function (both are not supported in regular dome and bullet cameras).

Quick access features：Digital zoom, Snapshot, Video recording, Audio in, Audio out, Language settings.

The file name of a snapshot is based on the IP address and time information. For example, file name 20171006_221325_125_01_192.168.1.18.jpg means device’s IP address is 192.168.1.18, and time and date 10pm, on 6th October, 2017. Setting:

Access to camera settings including System, Network, Camera, Audio& Video, PTZ function, Alarm, User, Log.

Ø System System: Displays the system information of the camera, version, serial number, IP address Time: Set the system time manually or synced with an NTP time server. Advanced: Including firmware update, factory settings, reboot.

Time: Timezone setting, NTP setting, Sync now.

Advanced: Including firmware update, factory settings, reboot.

Ø Network ： Setting of Network parameter of Network, FTP, SMTP/HTTPS, QoS, IGMP, PORT, DDNS, P2P.

Ø Camera: Basic settings, Exposure settings, Effect settings, White balance setting and Reset.

Ø Audio & Video: Setting of audio, video, motion detection, privacy

zone, store path. (Store path: The store path of IE Video and IE snapshot. Default is C:/ IPC_PlayerAX, choose browse you may reselect the path. The file type of Image is jpg/bmp, video is avi/ifv)

Ø PTZ Function: Preset, Auto tour, Protocol. (Only applicable for cameras with Pan, Tilt, Zoom functions)

Ø Alarm: User can set network or local contact.

Ø Record: The settings and playback of local SD card setting.

Ø Manage Users: Setup admin and guest login credentials and access level.

Ø Log: Record of the camera’s operations.
