Why ACU?
Improved efficiency, increased safety ACU creates a collaborative environment in which the needs of airspace users and airspace authorities are balanced allowing network efficiency to be optimized.
The Airspace Situational Display creates a common awareness of the current and future airspace configuration between ATM, ASM, and Airspace Users both civil and military. Air safety is increased when all stakeholders are operating using the same baseline data.
Aeronautical information contained in the ACU database can be exported in many different data formats (AIXM, ARINC, etc.) allowing it to be used in other automated systems while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
