IDS-ADI: Vision of ISO 15926Together we see an ISO 15926 future where:• Reference data solves otherwise intractable

interoperability issues for business.• A sound methodology produces consistent models and

reference data.• Formal logics are an important means of proving a

sound methodology.• Validation includes methods based on formal logics. • Semantic web tools make logical validation practicable.• Semantic web standards can be used define and

propagate ISO 15926 reference data, rules and even content.

IDS-ADI: AccomplishmentsWith PCA and FIATECH together, IDS-ADI have:• Made reference data publicly accessible using

Semantic Web tools and standards.• Built consensus amongst software vendors on paths to

compliance.• Implemented open source tools for processing and

transforming data.• Continually tested the developing parts of the standard.• Provided training to modelers and developers.• Developed core elements of the model.
