Guidance with MEP funds and Translating for Districts

MEP funded staff can translate MEP related materials (i.e., Migrant PAC invites, agendas/minutes; information regarding Migrant funded services)

MEP funded staff cannot translate documents provided to all students (i.e., school newsletters, district newsletters, report cards, PTO newsletters, LEP Placement letters, etc)

If a MEP funded staff is translating general documents provided to all students, a proportionate percentage of the staff’s salary must come from other funds.
