Voicethread is a multimedia slide show that holds images, documents, and videos and allows people to navigate slides and leave comments in 5 ways -using your voice (with a microphone or telephone), text, audio

file, or video (via a webcam), or share a VoiceThread with friends, students, and colleagues for them to record comments too.

Users can doodle while commenting, use multiple identities, and pick which comments are shown through moderation. VoiceThreads can

even be embedded to show and receive comments on other websites and exported to MP3 players or DVDs to play as archival movies.

under on the picture you need to click on comment, if you clicked on it you have the choise to comment by your webcam, by your

microphone(only voice) or by a text message. Click on "allow" and you can leave your comment. click on save.

EDUCATIONAL USE

Teachers can upload a subject from their lesson into voicethread, with voicethread the teacher can explain wath the subject is going about and give a sort of online lesson, students can then ask questions about the subject if they don't understand, or students can ask other questions and discus the subject. All this can be done by 3 possibillities: students can comment by webcam, by voice/microphone, or by text message, how to use that have a look in the voicethread manual in this wiki.

It can acually seen as a class but than on the web, where the teacher can give information, answer questions, explain things... and students can comment by using voicethread, like in a normal classroom, but now in a very interesting and motivating way.
