in the details and choose a subject. If you are ready, just click on ''Continue to Add Events''( the yellow icon right in the corner). Thereafter,

you will come on another page. Just click on continue.

STEP 6: Choose the title, date and further info. Upload a picture or video and when ready save the timeline. Set up the timeperiod with the timezoomer.

EDUCATIONAL USE

Why is Dipity useful ?

Dipity is excellent for encouraging students to edit, evaluate, collaborate and generate projects that can personalize history. So it is the perfect tool for creating a timeline for any subject in your classroom. Students can bring history to life by embedding relevant You Tube video into their timelines.

What about the educators ?

For educators, the benefit of timeline builders is the ability to work with students on developing their decision-making skills. Students constructing timelines have to decide which events to add and which to omit, what text should be displayed, which images to embed, and most importantly why the particular starting and endpoints were chosen on historical merit.
