Broadband Satellite for Asia-PacificIPSTAR (Thaicom-4): Only HTS in Asia

What is Broadband Satellite?• Support Gbps traffic at Mbps speed with much lower cost than

conventional satellite system. • Deliver IP communications regardless of type - data, voice, or

movie.

• Fill the communication, command and control gaps as a result of crippled terrestrial networks.

• Provide rapid, flexible disaster recovery and emergency communications in times of communication outages.

• Meet the precise needs of first responder teams in putting communication networks back on line in the event of man-made or natural disasters.

• Interconnect widely distributed systems and networks

• Broadcast on-the-spot news• Deliver two-way, mobile telephone communications• Provide nationwide coverage and consistent Quality

of Service (QoS), regardless of location
