Sydney Fish Market

Day 1 // Welcome to Your Pan Paci!c Getaway

Let your Australian adventure begin! We will check into our Sydney-based luxury hotel where our local hosts will be on hand to greet you. We’ll take the afternoon to get over our jet lag with a bevy of suggestions and a chance for us to get our “Australian footing.” A private harbor cruise is planned where we will take in the Opera House, Harbor Bridge, and Sydney Skyline while sipping cocktails and nibbling on local fare. Our captain will bring us back to Circular Quay, the hub of Sydney Harbor and our dinner spot for the evening. We’ll get you back to your hotel at an early hour with time to unwind from a busy !rst day!

Day 2 // Our Private Island Adventure

Check out the catch of the day at the famous Sydney Fish Market and watch the bidding wars ensue. We will enjoy breakfast at the market and then head out for a day !lled with rest and relaxation. Our private ferry will take us to a secluded white sand beach with crystal blue waters. Before the BBQ lunch, feel free to snorkel and explore the island. After our days excursion enjoy free time to check out Sydney’s undiscovered neighborhoods. We will meet up again for a gourmet dinner.

Day 3 // Spend the Day With Google

Today we head over to the local Google office in New South Wales. After a full day of meeting and greeting (with a meeting or two thrown in) at the office we will have the opportunity to experience a private cooking lesson. Learn some new culinary skills and recipes to show off to your friends back home, and taste the asian Asian and European in"uences that de!ne the region. After dinner we will hit the town in style on our own ‘Pub Safari,” a chance for us to eat and drink as only the locals do. It’s also a great chance to see the city on foot and some of it’s more unique !nds - boxing kangaroos anyone?

Day 4 //The Blue Mountains

Today, we head into Blue Mountain National Park and have the unique opportunity to explore the region by 4WD and on foot. Our custom eco tour will take us into the remote wilderness to view panorama escarpments, deep canyons, ancient rainforests, and of course some native 4-legged inhabitants. Our day wraps up with a return trip to Sydney for a group dinner and a well-deserved nights rest.

Day 5 // The Royal Botanical Garden

We get a chance to sleep in today and meet mid-morning for a gourmet picnic brunch in Sydney’s Royal Botanic Gardens. The gardens have more than one million specimens and boast a hop-on hop-off train available to take in all of the "ora. After brunch we head to one of Sydney’s many public beaches, or indulge at the spa before heading to al fresco pre-dinner cocktails. After dinner we ‘ll make our way over to the Sydney Observatory where we have saved the best for last - an in-close and personal look at the universe around us. This is one front-row seat that we’ll never forget!

After breakfast it’s time to say goodbye and start planning our next Google adventure!

page 8The Iconic TeamAdventurous, unyielding and sometimes even awe-inspiring.

LISA WILKINSONLisa grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from the University of Utah, after which she interned at the US Ski and Snowboard association for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. She stayed on to be the Women's Alpine Team Manager through the 2006 Winter Olympic Games. After moving to Colorado she worked as a Program Manager on World Championship events for USA Swimming and USA Triathlon, and is now the Event Director at Iconic.

JOE SOLOMONJoe grew up in Atlanta and spent a good amount of his childhood traveling up into the Appalachian Mountains, where he fostered his love for high-altitude living. He began tackling big summits after college and after a few years as a corporate project manager, he joined Backroads where he eventually worked as a Regional Manager and Director of the Tour DaVita. After 10 years at Backroads, he started Iconic and now lives in Steamboat with his wife Kerry and his three children.

LAUREN CECILBefore joining Iconic Adventures, Lauren has worked for Zozi, PEAK Adventures, and AstraZeneca and has traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, Australia, Central America, including 38 US states. While at PEAK Adventures Lauren learned about the adventure travel sphere from the ground level serving as a guide leading camping trips across the United States. She enjoys being outdoors, camping, and rock climbing.

EMILY LOVETTGrowing up in Michigan, Emily’s love for the outdoors started an early age with family trips to hike, bike, ski and camp in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Emily attended Kalamazoo College and graduated with a major in Economics and Business Administration. She now spends her winters as a nordic ski instructor and coaching the Steamboat Springs High School nordic ski team. Emily lives in Steamboat Springs with her husband Clay.

ALEX PALLUTAlex's love for the outdoors brought her to Steamboat Springs nine years ago when she traded rainy England for the Rocky Mountains. Since then she has pursued a career in the outdoor industry, !rst as a guide and Regional Manager with Backroads and now with Iconic. Her adventures have taken her to the hill top towns of Tuscany, the medieval villages of Provence, and the mountain hamlets of Switzerland. She now lives in Steamboat with her husband Matt and new daughter Jade.

page 13The North Face 2012 Hiking EventEmployees, partners and prospective clients in a one-day hiking event.

The North Face 2012 Hiking EventEvent: To provide a day hike for 150 of The North Face’s employees, athletes, media personnel and partners.

Theme: In keeping with their brand, this hike was held in a remote canyon in UT and based out of a rustic camping area.

Goal: To provide a memorable event for the guests, highlight their new products and provide an incredible networking opportunity to everyone. all within a very set budget.

The Hike: A 4 mile hike thought Mill Creek Canyon, followed by an evening reception that features 3 cookout “stations” highlighting different aspects of their brand and expeditions.

What Makes This Event Unique: Iconic designed this event around their latest Everest Expedition, with famed mountaineer Conrad Anker as the guest host. Hikes were designed to accommodate all !tness levels, all tenting was designed to give a “base camp” feeling at the campground, and food stations were designed around traditional Nepalese food and customs. The North Face brand was evident in every aspect of this event.

page 14355 Miles. 28,242 Calories BurnedSmartWool and Iconic build camaraderie and a coveted annual retreat.

Started in 2007 to build relationships and strengthen the company’s green efforts, the SmartWool tour has become a coveted event.

Features a collection of SmartWool staff, sales reps, key retailers and journalists, and industry partners.

Consists of a four-day, 355- mile backroads journey from the SmartWool’s headquarters in Steamboat Springs, Colo., to Park City, Utah.

The average rider on this tour burned 15,000 to 20,000 calories.

Iconic provides a full lifecycle for this event from design and promotion to registration and on-site guiding.

page 15The Best of the RestWe do a few other things too...

Event: A trip designed for TPL donors down the coast of Maine from Acadia to Camden that gives them a !rst-hand look at how their contributions are making a lasting impact in Maine.

Goal: To give donors a ground-level view of TPL’s accomplishments in Maine and ow their contributions are making a direct impact in the organization and the state.

The Activities: Biking throughout Acadia and their historic carriage trails. Kayaking the coast of Stonington in coves that were protected using TPL funds. Hiking out of their inn to Mount Battie in Camden. Biking to an organic farm created with TPL funds and a wooden boat school in Brooklin. Hiking to the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts on Deer Isle. Enjoying a sunset cruise on the Schooner Olad in Camden Harbor.

What Makes This Event Unique: Donors hike, kayak and bike through protected areas that are a direct result of their involvement with TPL. Lunches were designed around local customs and sustainable ingredients. Dinners are held each evening at current donors houses and local partners present upcoming projects to the guests. Guests receive TPL-branded gear that they use throughout the trip. TPL staff designed the itinerary based on their current projects and goals. Donors were excited to see upcoming projects and ways in which they could be involved.

TPLs Maine Donor EventHow Donor Experiences shape an organization

The California Coast ClassicCharity fundraising in an active new way

Event: An 8-day bike ride down the California coast to raise awareness and funds for the Arthritis Foundation.

Goal: To give riders a bucket list event that allows them to peddle 525 miles down the coast building camaraderie and raising money for a cause that they believe in.

The Ride: The ride starts the heart of San Francisco and follows Route 1 through towns like Half Moon Bay, Monterey, Santa Barbara and Malibu as it wraps up in Santa Monica.

What Makes This Event Unique: Riders can choose from an array of accommodations each night, and the Iconic team facilitates all logistical elements for the event. Iconic riders work to motivate individuals each day, our support vans are out on the road ensuring full rider support while our behind-the-scenes team moves everything from point to point. Planning for the event began 12 months prior and the Iconic tram worked closely with the Arthritis Foundation to ensure that all of their standards were met and that all riders received one-on-one attention throughout the ride.

page 16Life in a Mountain TownWhy Steamboat Springs is where we come home to after every trip.

Call it a gut feeling. We call it a search for a simpler way of life. Whatever the reason, we knew that Steamboat would be our base as soon as we got to town. Maybe it’s the 10am powder clause that every business has in their bylaws, or the quick mountain bike ride that we can take at lunch. It could be watching our kids learn how to ski or take their !rst !sh off of the line. Whatever the reason, we do know this - it shapes the way we look at trips and the effect that they can have on people, and its a little part of everything that we do here at Iconic.
