Solo was bred by Chrissie Andrews - Scotland, in December 1982, the only pup in the litter (hence Soltaire Sam) from GB CH & IR CH Samovar Will 'O‘ the Wisp and Whitewisp Bronwen.

In the 1980's he was top winning Samoyed in Ireland for over 5 years,

Winning BIS at Irish Samoyed Breed Championship show several times in consecutive years,

Gaining Annual Champion status many times over the same period.

He gained multi group wins,

Best in Show,

Res Best In Show at many championship shows.

Solo lived to the grand old age of 13 years, although troubled with arthritis in his later years, he passed away peacefully at home.
