Icestorm vs Firestorm, Int Total vs Gem Lvl for DPS Rating
This should be the bext way to compare Icestorm vs Firestorm
The 'DPS Rating' is 'Avg DPS if all Impact same spot', the numerical value itself is not so imporant as long as it can be used to compare Icestorm and Firestorm
To get actual DPS, we just have to multiply by a factor for the chance the enemy gets hit in the AoE. This factor is unknown as far as I know.
We are assuming this chance, ( the associated spread, Spell AoE, impact AoE etc) is the same for Icestorm and Firestorm

This is damage per hit, not DPS. Does not even take into account the increased duration from Icestorm Int that might cause more overlap for higher dps. At 400 int, the Icestorm duration is 0.9 same as Firestorm for all levels
But it is a good estimate since the Impact per second is the same. Cast time is the same. Damage effectiveness is the same.
Besides the duration difference, Firestorm has 6% crit compared to the 5% crit for Icestorm
