ICCE ABSTRACT SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Abstracts are to be submitted online athttp://journals.tdl.org/ICCE. The submission procedure for the

ICCE Abstracts will follow that for the full Proceedings papers. If you are not familiar with that process,

Abstract submission can be completed by following the step-by-step instructions given below. Abstracts

are limited to two pages, and should be submitted by October 1, 2013. For any questions please contact

STEP-BY-STEP Instructions:

Go to the sitehttp://journals.tdl.org/ICCE, and click on the LOG IN text along the top banner.

On the following page, log in to the TDL system using your existing login information, or use thegiven links to retrieve your existing information or register with the system.

Click on LOG IN on the

top banner

If you have previously

submitted a Proceedings

paper for a past ICCE on

this system, type in your

Username and Password

here.

If you have forgotten what

these are, click on the

Forgot your password?

link below, and you will be

able to retrieve your

information. Otherwise,

register, or re-register,

using the Not a user?

link. Be sure to check the

Author box when

registering.

Depending on how you logged into the system, you will be directed to one of the two followingscreens. Use the appropriate links to start a new submission:

The Abstract submission is a five step process. The first step requires the Author to select theappropriate topic (between 1. Waves, 2. Swash, Nearshore Currents, and Long Waves, 3. Sediment

Transport and Morphology, 4. Coastal Structures and 5. Coastal Management, Environment, and

Risk).

1. Choose the most appropriate section for your

abstract, from:

WavesSwash, Nearshore Currents, and Long Waves

Sediment Transport and Morphology

Coastal Structures

Coastal Management Environment, and Risk

3. Add any comments, if

needed

4. Click Save and continue

2. Check the Copyright box

The next step is to upload your Abstract file:


1. Hit the Choose File

button, select your

Abstract file from your

local file system, and then

hit the Upload button

The third step requires the user to add information for all authors, as well as adding the Title and ashort description of your submission. Note that the Abstract box here should contain a short

summary of your submission, or the first paragraph of your submission, whichever is most

appropriate.

1. Add author information.

Note that only the entries

with an * are required.

2. For additional authors, click the Add Author

button, and another set of Text Boxes will appear.

Please add information for all authors.

3. Add your Paper Title, and a short

summary of your submission here.

4. The remaining text boxes on this

page (Keywords, SupportingAgencies, and References) are not

required for Abstract Submission

and can be left blank

The final two steps require only clicking the continue buttons on the bottom of each page. Onceyou have completed the submission, you will receive a confirmation email. Do not delete this email;

when the full conference Proceedings papers are requested, you will simply modify this Abstract

submission by replacing the submitted Abstract with the full paper.

5. Click Finish Submission to
