The Management Education Scenario has taken a big giant stride in India post 2006 as AICTE opened the floodgates for starting new PGDM institutions. The race for “quality” management education thus got initiated in a frenzied manner.
The prospective students aspiring to be managers became a hot property overnight. Sprawling campuses, goodies like Laptops, “Foreign tours” became a must on the offerings. In this effort to lure the students, the basics like good faculty, proven pedagogy making the students placement ready, contributing to the nations pool of budding managers have been relegated to the back seat.
This is where ICBM-SBE steps in to stem the rot. The focus at ICBM-SBE is student centric. The emphasis is on grooming the students overall and not only in academics. In a recent survey conducted by researchers reveals that in
getting a good solid placement a prospective student has to equip himself with 80% soft skills and 20% of subject and technical skills. The student is provided a solid base in both written and spoken English which is normally considered as Achilles' Heal for the many students in today's environment. It is more so in the case of students from the Northern and Eastern India.
At ICBM-SBE, it is our endeavor to provide the best of Everything which goes in transforming a shy, naïve, graduate into a Confident, Street Smart Budding Manager. A well equipped indoor sports room and attached Volleyball & mini cricket ground.
Hostel: Separate Hostel for Boys & Girls with decent amenities and Hygienic food with Wi-Fi connectivity.

Program Structure:
1. The first three trimesters are same for all the streams and specializations of PGDM.
2. The candidates have to select the stream and specialization at the start of the fourth trimester.
3. The candidates have to submit a mini project at the end of third trimester and main project at the end of sixth trimester
in the concerned specialization.
4. For dual specialization the candidates have to select three papers from each specialization in the fourth trimester and
fifth trimester so that the fourth & fifth trimester will have six papers of two specializations and practical paper of the
ERP concerning their specialization.
5. In the sixth trimester the candidate has to complete the main project and has to take four papers of the cross functional
specializations which have to be decided at the end of the fifth trimester. The cross functional specializations presently
available are International Business, Biotech Management, E-Business, Pharma Management Etc.

ICBM – SBE strives to provide an efficient, professional and productive environment for both visiting companies and ICBM – SBE students in their efforts to find the perfect Person-Position Fit. The Placement Cell offers a broad range of expertise, services, programs and resources to assist students with their career development and job searches. Concurrently we enjoy the dynamic relationships with our recruiting “Partners” – the hundreds of organizations across the country that work with us.
The Placement Team is fully equipped to handle presentations, Pre-placement talks, Group Discussions and all types of Interview sessions. Our facilities include well equipped, air-conditioned seminar halls and conference rooms wired for audio, video and internet, in addition to dedicated interview cabins. Laptop computers, LCD projectors and Over Head Projectors are also available on demand. In addition, our dedicated Placements staff will handle the entire process and all paperwork related to your recruitment activity at ICBM – SBE.
Placement Guidelines
1) All the companies participating in our Placement Process are requested to make their Presentation at our campus at convenient dates mutually decided upon by the company and the placement team.
2) In case the participating companies are unable to come to campus, they are requested to mail the Presentation. So that we can arrange for the interviews, either at the campus or at the company.
st3) Final Placement will begin from Jan 1 onwards.
4) Students can join the companies in which they are placed from January 2012 onwards.
