Farmers Seminar & Awareness Programme on fertilizer application

KVK organized the live webcaste of Union Minister Shri N.S. Tomar on 22nd Oct., 2019 onthe occasion of fertilizer awareness programme. Total 259 farmers and Farm women wereparticipated in this event. Minister said that optimal and balanced use of fertilizers and micro-nutrients in agriculture is the need of the hour. He said excessive use of fertilizers deterioratessoil fertility. He said farmers must utilize bio-fertilizers to enhance the health of soil, resultingin high yield of agri-produce. Speaking on the occasion, Chemicals and Fertilizers Minister DV Sadananda Gowda said the awareness programme will benefit farmers. After thecompletion of live webcast programme the KVK Scientist deliver the lecture on Fertilizeruses and its effect on soil and benefits of soil testing and how to collect the soil sample.

In this day KVK organized the KisanGosthi and aware the farmers & farm women about plantation &distributed the fruit, Medicinal & Ornamental plant to farmer. KVKScientists planted the Fruit , Ornamental and Medicinal plants in theKVK premises. Total 500 farmers and Farm women were participatedin this event from the villages of Chhotaudepur district.

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Vadodara organized the Live Webcast of Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modiprogramme on NADCPfor FMD and Brucellosis and (NAIP) on 11th Sept ,2019 :KVK, Vadodara organized the Live Webcast National Animal Disease Control Programme (NADCP) for FMDand Brucellosis and National Artificial Insemination Programme (NAIP) on 11th Sept, 2019 which waslaunched by Hon'ble Prime Minister of India from Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. KVK arranged to live telecast of theprogramm for farmers from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M., More than 200 farmers and farm women from differentvillages of Chhotaudepur district were participated in the programme. After the completion of Live webcastprogramme Member of Parliament (MP) Chhotaudepur Smt. Geetaben Rathva addressing to farmers and saythat follow the vaccination chart for animal health. KVK Scientists & Officer's from Animal Husbandrydepartment deliver the lecture on Dairy Cattle management, quality fodder production, brief discussion onFMD disease & its Control, Clean Milk Production etc.

KVK Participated in the district level Kisan Mela on 11th Dec, 2019 at FTC Chhotaudepurand Krishi Mela at Heer petrol pump, Sankheda on 13th July, 2019 by putting up a stalldisplaying charts on package of practices and live specimens of different variety of seasonalcrop and distributed the leaflets and folders. About 1330 farmer's and Farm women werevisited the KVK stall.

KVK organized the 4 Animal Health Checkup Camp in Sundarpura, Nanabutiyapura,Vanyadri andAmbapura villages of Chhotaudepur district. In this camp scientist treated the 1079 dairy animals for aproblem of anestrous & Repeat breeding, Ecto & Endo parasites, Pregnancy diagnosis and other generaltreatments. In this camp total 194 farmers were benefited.
