Problem(Abstract)After installing a mobile fix or customizing the mobile application, you receive the error getMobileAppMbosErrormessage during sign in.

Cause

This is usually caused by a mismatch between the core Maximo database and the Mobile database.

Resolving the problem

To resolve this issue you need to clean up the users MD_ table and remove the mobile database.

1)Delete the information in the users MD_ table from the Maximo database. Connect to the database and run thefollowing

Delete from "md_xxxx";

Replace xxxx with the user name you are having the issue with.

2)Delete the database files on the device or in the J2SE depending on what you are using

J2ME

\maximo\db

J2SE

\IBM_maximo_Mobile\db

.

Sign in and perform a Full Refresh.
