1. Cognos Command Center: Introduction
Cognos Command Center reduces administrative IT and database maintenance tasks & workflow for
multiple platforms and applications, regardless of where the application resides. A central automation repository provides security-rich application and data automation source control, lifecycle management (LCM) and an audit trail for exceptional automation compliance.
Particularly in larger TM1 environments featuring many dimensions, cubes and corresponding update
requirements and processes, Cognos Command Center will significantly improve IT process efficiency and productivity by orchestrating, streamlining and automating database maintenance tasks.
Some of the advantages of IBM Cognos Command Center:
One platform for orchestrating, streamlining and automating database management & maintenance, Seamlessly integrated with
o TM1 & Planning Analytics,
o RDBMS, o Cognos BI, o Cognos Integration Server, o and other Database and Analytics platforms such as
