Dear Sir/Madam Assalamu Alaikum warahmatulahi wabarakatu My name is Mohammad Shafique, I leave and work in London. I have qualification and many years of experience in driver training industry and IT Consultancy. In my last visit to Pakistan 2016, I’ve realised that there is no organisation which sets the standards for learner drivers, instructor and examiners. In existing system if the learner driver can drive the car forward and reverse trough the set of cones he passes the test and given driving licence. How can we trust this NEW DRIVER on public roads, who is not been TESTED on public roads by the official driving examiner. In UK people fail there driving test, it’s not because they can’t drive the car, it is because they can’t drive safely. In my opinion driver training industry is neglected in Pakistan or the government is unable to realise the potential of this industry to generate revenue, create job and above all train people to be safe drivers. I would like to propose a development of National Driving Standards Agency (NDSA) which will be responsible for the following; NDSA will set driving standards according to national and international requirements. Establish National Driving Standards Agency (NDSA) training academy Register and licence all the driving instructor Provide necessary training to driving instructors Train driving test examiners All the driving test will connected by the NDSA approved driving examiners. I’ve eager to something for Pakistan which helps the people of Pakistan and Pakistan. I can provide training and frame work for the above mentioned organisation. Please feel free to contact me if you need any further information. ([email protected]) Kind Regards Mohammad Shafique
