About I.A.R.F?I.A.R.F stands for “Isaac Asimov Research Funding” which is going to be held between 29 states & 7 UTs , making it one of the biggest ever Robotics product Prototyping Competition among 3495 Engineering colleges in India where the targeted participants would be approx. 50 Lakhs students. This state of the art competition is an initiative by SakRobotix Lab Pvt. Ltd to promote Research & Development in the field of Robotics. In this Research fund competition the top teams and their respective faculty guides will be funded by SakRobotix Lab and our associate sponsors to complete their Prototyping.

This program is meant to spread innovativeness and also help students to shape their dreams into distinct reality. It will empower both students and faculties from various Engineering Colleges across the country to develop prototypes which in turn will strengthen the Research & Development going on in the field of Robotics in India.

Execution:With 3495 Engineering colleges and around 50 Lakhs Engineering students who are currently pursuing their education, India is the emerging technical hub of the world. SakRobotix Lab will be giving a problem statement for prototyping one product to each state and union territory in India, after which we will be inviting the students to apply for the competition and send their abstracts. After receiving the abstracts we will scrutinize and short-list the top twenty applications from each state & UT. A presentation called “RoboTalkX” will be organized in each state & UT in India where the selected teams will be demonstrating their proposals for the prototyping. The same will be carefully judged by the elite fraternity of the Robotics Society of India and accordingly 2 teams will be selected from each state who will be completely funded by us for prototyping their ideas . The teams will be given 3 months of time to complete the prototyping and are then required to submit it to SakRobotix Lab. They will be given fellowship of Research Associates at SakRobotix Lab and the Respective faculties will be Research Scientists. Since, most of the research in India face the major obstacle in getting their Ideas funded, SakRobotix Lab will be acting as a catalyst between them and their dream.

Abstract Call • Each state & UT will be given a Robotics Product Idea• Application & sending abstracts• Team = 4 Members (3 students + 1 Faculty guide)

Scrutinizing Abstracts• Abstracts from all colleges will be carefully scrutinized for innovativeness, technical aspects, feasibility and many

more criteria.• Selection will be on the basis of innovativeness, technical aspects, feasibility, application and aesthetics.

Shortlisting Forms• Twenty teams will be shortlisted from each state & UT on the basis of the above mentioned criteria.• These teams need to give presentations in the “RoboTalkX” that will be arranged in each and every state, PAN India.

Funding for the Teams • Out of the twenty teams only best two teams will be selected by esteemed juru of Robotics Society of India.• These teams will be funded for prototyping & be given stipend for carrying out their research work.

Prototyping of Robot • Within 3 months the prototypes have to be made by the teams by taking guidance from faculty guide & SakRobotiX

Engineers.• The prototype has to be submitted to SakRobotiX after completion.• Reearch Fellowship will be awarded to students & their faculty guides.
