The 2019 CIALACIBU was held in Cancun, Mexico from December 1st – 5th. On December

3rd, the IAOMS held its Presidential Chain Ceremony honoring Dr. Gabriele Millesi as theincoming President of the IAOMS Board of Directors.

IAOMS Vice President Elect Dr. Alejandro Martinez had the honor to attend andparticipate in the 64th Congress of JSOMS in Japan. Dr. Martinez spoke with attendees on

how to better promote the OMFS specialty to young surgeons in Asia, includingcollaboration through IAOMS and the NextGen community.
