I’am Just A Nobody

To: Washington State Dems.

I am Marvin Wells, National Hillary Delegate. But I am just a nobody. A nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody who can help everybody. That person is Hillary Clinton.

But before I go there , let me tell you just a little bit about me Mr. Nobody. I should be dead or in jail the way I see it. I am from the South Side of Chicago, but have been basically living on my own as of the age 15. I had to go to school, work, and cross the two lane highway with a wheel-barrow to cut wood for winter heat. That was when I was sent to a little town in the state of Mi. I know what it is like to need, to want and to eat bread and catch-up with no meat.

After school I join the USN at age 17, I had to fight the system for every promotion. Eight years later in 1989 I join The US Merchants and had to fight for every job. I had to fight with not just everyone else, but with the system. A system stack-up agaist me, see I am not suppose to be in this state, this job, or as a National Hillary delegate, not as a black man. Not when Obama is in the same race. My friends, family, co-worker or outsider just don’t get it.

I now can buy all of my needs, my wants, and most of my desires.

See we all have to take care of our need, our want and then our desires. When in the navy I voted for Reagan, the need was a 600 ship navy and one of the largest pay raise the military had ever got.

When I heard about the Bill Clinton I just had to vote for him. Then there was this woman name Hillary, who wanted Health-care for everyone. As I watch them I said damn there is finally reason not to fight the system any longer. But I also saw what the GOP did to them, everytime the GOP went at them they fought back. The health-care did not pass. This Hillary woman fought on, we ended up getting health-care for 6-10 million kids each year.

When Bill was bad she fought on, she fought on by standing by her man. Not just for him, but for the country, and for the party. People may not get that, but if she walked away he would have been forced out of office. When she wanted to be a Senator, people said noway, but she fought on and won two times. When she wanted to be President whole a lot of people said no, but she fought on. When the Press came at her and told her to get out of the race, she fought on. When some her own democratic friends left her and said to the Press she should get out the race, she fought on. She kept coming back with wins, adding up to 18,000,000 votes, the most in US history.

When Obama got party nomination, she fought on. She fought on for the party by saying I this Hillary woman support the party nominate. She is someone worth fighting for, she is a need, she is a want, she is a desire.

But like I said I’ am just a nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody who can help everybody. This person is a true Democrat, she is a figther, she is Hillary Clinton.
