Cutting-edge education and comprehensive training is the centerpiece of Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC)’s drive to enhance Hong Kong’s green building industry and community awareness. “My Green Space” Green Building Competition for Schools is established by HKGBC since 2011. The Competition is open to all local primary and secondary school students.

The overarching aim of the Competition is to facilitate the sustainable development of Hong Kong through the promotion of green buildings. The Competition aims to: a) promote green building concepts among the school community; b) nurture critical and creative thinking by providing training to the school community and encouraging students to express their creative ideas of green building concepts; c) transfer knowledge on green building and the environment to school community. Students are invited to submit entries based on the Competition theme - “My Green Space” to present ideas on how green building concepts can be applied in real life cases such as Green Home, Green School and Green Community, as well as ideas on how to develop Green Living for a Better World.
