I woke up full of excitement. My class was going to Khao Yai and I

was quite sure the time was great. I never knew what will happen.

Snake bite or lost in the forest? No way! Stop day dreaming, Im

getting scared. I quickly packed my bag full of stuff and my mum

took me to school.

Listen up! My teacher Mr. Beskeen shouted through our chit-

chat. My friends and I were on the bus. I sat with Pim in about the

middle row. Whats he up to? Pim whispered in my ear.

I dont know. It seems to be important.I paused Lets stop talking

for a while.I continued.

Thank you Mr. Beskeen said when we stopped, Ive a news. In

about 5 minutes we will be in Khao Yai! Everyone including me

cheered.

Later we arrived there. It was enormous! Everything was

green! Pim and I could smell trees and animals. Cool! Exclaimed

Pim, looking around.

Awesome! I laughed using a better word than her. Then we both

laughed.

We will be here tomorrow. Mr. Beskeen told us. For now we have

to go to the resort.

Kru Noi and Kru Ben our T.A or teacher assistance called Man, Korn

and Ten who were playing. Come here boys! She said, Or else

girls will get you right here! She joked, but we were already on the

bus and the boys were coming up. Kru Noi smiled.

Thumped! my bag hit the ground when I was pulling it. Aw

Come on. I pushed, and then it moved. Kru Ben and Kru Noi gave

our key room. As you know I slept with Pim in a cabin. On my right

hand side was the boys rooms and on the left hand side, of coursethe girls rooms. Pim and I headed there when we got our key. We

unpacked our bag and checked it the bath room had hot water. It did

but it was up high.

Knock Knock! A voice came from outside the door. It was Mr.

Beskeen. Oh yeah! I thought. Ive nearly forgot. Ive just called him

to turn the water on to warm. And he came and did it for me.

Kru Noi blew the whistle calling me and my friends. For a

minute, we were on the bus driving to the cave. When we got there;

just in time to see a huge flock of bats. We waited for 5 minutes and

the bats didnt all come out yet! Wow! we all said.

Suddenly a fruit bat flew over Pims head. Eeeek! She

screamed. I laughed. Later Pim and everyone laughed too. After half

an hour we got on the bus and headed to our resort. What a fun! Ivemany pictures of bats!

Zzzz! Pim snored. I sighed. I turned on the bathroom light

and took a shower. Even the bath room shower system was on; the

water was still freezing cold! Anyway Pim fell asleep already. She

was younger than me. Sometimes I feel happy when Im alone. But

in this case. Where the place in the night was scary, not tonight I

wanted to be left alone. I quickly got dresses and went to sleep,

leaving the bath room light on.

The next morning, Pim and I woke up on 7:30am but our

friends were awake already. Our due to wake up was on 8:00am.

You know what?! By now Mr. Beskeen, Kru Noi and Kru Ben didnt

wake up yet. Actually we didnt take a bath in the morning because

it was very cold. Man didnt bath 3 times already! Any way it doesnt

matter. At last our teachers managed to wake up; then we headed to

Khao Yai!

Were going for a 2 hour hike! Explained Mr. Beskeen to us

after we reached Khao Yai. What?! 2 hours? I sank down on my seat.

Lets go! Pim took my hand and my backpack. She pulled me off

the bus. Aw I mumbled under my breath.

We were going in partners. Pim and I were going together. We

walked through the forest part. I got out my compass and looked.

We have been walking for half an hour now. Are we going to

the North? Pim asked me. No Um Yes! I mean yes were going.

I showed her my compass. Pim looked pale as a rotten orange. Mi-

Mi! She complained. What are we going to do? Your compass is

broken! I gasped in horror.
