Our English teacher has used this app for Grammar practice.

Students can highlight and write on PDF then email the document to their teacher.

Plan book for our students

Offers several different features including reminders, documenting long-term assignments and breaking homework down by subject.

Dropbox

Each student has an account to store work

Teachers have used the sharing feature to give out documents.

Ghost writer

Notebook App that has been used extensively in our math classes.

Allows students to write, type or annotate pdf's or pictures

Pages (Word processor)

In my class it is used for notes and essays

Students will often use this app for homework assignments.

Can email assignments from the app as well as print.

Everyday usesStudents use their IPads everyday in the 6th grade.

Some classes it will be used simply for the plan book feature.

All the teachers have incorporated the IPad into their lessons in different ways.

Science-Camera, Keynote. Math-Ghostwriter. English-ibooks, Neu-annotate, Pages. Social Studies- Pages, Keynote, Edmodo, Dropbox. Computer class- puppet pals, video features. Language classes have utilized vocabulary building apps. Arts classes have used the camera and Pages apps.
