I once was blind

I once was blindBut now I seeA world that’s so hugeAround of me…                  

I first saw the cloudsThe sun & skiesAt night the moon,And the mass of stars

I sat and wonderedAt its great beautyThis great universe To which I’m just a penny

I walked to a gardenAnd saw the flowers

It’s scent, how sweet and strong,

A scent of power

I started for the shoreOf a deep blue seaAnd there I foundThe beauty did not end here

Another mediumFull of creaturesSwimming and livingLike humans! With different features!

And there was a forest With mystery to its cornersSo rich with lifeDear God, How great are Your Orders

I went back to my homeAnd found a family

That cares for one anotherNo matter what happened

So I knelt down right then and thereI felt I needed to prayThere was so much insideThat I just wanted to say

“Dear God,I thank you for the sun,The moon and the stars tooThe water, the air,And for all the food

Thank you for the day, the nightAll these creations just for meIt’s around me to see, taste,And most importantly, feel

You’ve put so much careIn putting it all togetherYou help me through the wayMy road, you make better

I just want to say,That I Love you

and for you I careDespite my little

faith,You presence I

feel, Your always Right There!”
