This workshop represents the shortened version of the semester-long courses introduced by ADA University School of Education within its Certificate Program in Teaching and Learning (CPTL). Aimed at introducing key concepts and approaches in teaching with a view to broadening participants’ teaching potential, this practical workshop helps to improve quality and effectiveness of educational process in any classroom. This workshop is designed for individuals interested in education, as well as for those who just enter teaching career and are already in the teaching field. Introducing competency-based, learner -centered curriculum, assessment strategies, lesson planning, classroom management, ICT are examples of the topics that will be covered during the workshop. The participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and gain new skills in a positive, “learning by doing” way through various collaborative and reflective activities. The workshop will be delivered by ADA University faculty involved in CPTL program.
