Eric Winthrop is the head of Houlihan Lokey’s Liability Management and Special Situations practice. He specializes

in liability management, M&A, and financing, and special situations transactions, and his experience spans numerous industries.

Winthrop has been a leader within HL’s restructuring group ever since joining the firm over 20 years ago. As a younger professional (and the youngest Managing Director promotion in the history of HL), he took on the more administrative aspects of running the LA office for HL FRG and for FRG globally. Currently, as one of the top revenue producers in the group, Winthrop is running the firm’s LA financial restructuring practice, which includes managing the recruiting, staffing, deal management, resource allocation, budget, and other general group management and administration activities. In addition, most recently he was appointed as the head of the firm’s Liability Management Group, which the firm recently created based on the success he had in pursuing and winning primarily company advisory focused Liability Management engagements for the firm.

Charlie Woo is a managing director and head of the Regional Investment Banking group at Wells Fargo Securities.

In that role, he manages the investment banking business generated out of 13 regional offices throughout the U.S. largely driven by the partnership with Wells Fargo Commercial Bank, Capital Finance and Wealth Advisors. Woo has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and private equity.

Woo is shaping the strategic direction of one of Wall Street’s growing investment banks. After nearly eight years of running the Southern California regional investment banking division, he was selected to run Wells Fargo Securities’ Regional Investment Banking group in late 2017. He leads a team that continues its momentum of driving excellent outcomes for their clients, having closed over 30 transactions by July of this year. Notable transactions include serving as the M&A and financing advisor to On Assignment on its acquisition of ECS Federal and advising Genesis Capital on its to Goldman Sachs Group.

Jonathan Zucker is the Head of the Capital Markets Group at Intrepid. He is responsible for advising entrepreneurs and

private equity funds on raising institutional debt and equity capital for a variety of uses such as funding growth, acquisitions, recapitalizations or working capital. During his more than 15-year career in finance, Zucker has been involved in a wide range of capital transactions, from IPOs to early stage venture financings. He has executed capital raises for companies across a diverse set of industry sectors.

Zucker founded Intrepid’s Capital Markets Group in 2014 and built it up to be a dedicated team executing transactions from $10 million to $100 million-plus. He has closed debt and equity financings for companies across media, technology, healthcare, consumer products, and business services. Also, he was recently awarded the M&A Advisor’s “Refinancing Deal of the Year” (under $250 million) for his work representing Mercury Media in its refinancing by Callidus Capital.
