MYANMAR MINISTRY UPDATE FOR MARCH 2016 Dear Partner in Myanmar ministry, As the Lord burdens us, we do the ministry here in Myanmar as much as we could. The Lord has been good and faithful to us in our ministry activities. I have to mention some highlights of our ministries during the month of March. I. MYANMAR BIBLE BELIEVING CHURCHES CONFERENCE We the Bible College hosted Myanmar Bible Believing Churches Conference which was hold from March 4-6 (three days). Especially from Chin State 329 people came, they all stayed at the Bible College Building. The theme of the conference is: ‘IN HIS LIKENESS” 2Cor 3:18. It was a real holiness conference; the participants were blessed and revived by the Holy Spirit. We felt the presence of God. II. FACULTY AND STUDENTS’ OUTREACH: Some students and faculty members have gone out to different mission fields for summer outreach. We have received some good news. Two teams went to Chaungtha Beach for Youth Conference the third week of March and there were 152 people came for the conference from Delta area mission churches. Most of them are believers and they brought their friends who are not saved. It was a refreshing conference and (8) people got saved and took water baptism. We thank God for that. III. BIBLES TRANSLATION SURVEY TRIP: March 7-12, I led Bibles International Bible Translation survey team to Southern Chin State and Naga Hills. We went to Kanpalet town which is in Southern Chin State and met with the Dai Chin leaders and the Uppu Chin leaders. Both of them do not have written language and the Bibles International did a primer for them and now they do need a Bible in their own language. The Dai Chin people are about 70000; all the Dai Chins are know as Christians (most of them nominal Christians) and the Uppu Chin people are about 160000 people and only about 200 Christians. Then we went to Mungzua city to meet with Hakha leaders to discuss the Hakha OT translation. We had a good time with them. The next day we met the Kokak leaders at Chindwin Hotel. They are about only 6000 people with

MYANMAR MINISTRY UPDATE FOR MARCH 2016

Dear Partner in Myanmar ministry, As the Lord burdens us, we do the ministry here in Myanmar as much as we could. The Lord has been good and faithful to us in our ministry activities. I have to mention some highlights of our ministries during the month of March.

I. MYANMAR BIBLE BELIEVING CHURCHES CONFERENCE We the Bible College hosted Myanmar Bible Believing Churches Conference

which was hold from March 4-6 (three days).

II. FACULTY AND STUDENTS’ OUTREACH:

Some students and faculty members have gone out to different mission fields for summer outreach. We have received some good news. Two teams went to Chaungtha Beach for Youth Conference the third week of March and there were 152 people came for the conference from Delta area

mission churches. Most of them are believers and they brought their friends who are not saved. It was a refreshing conference and (8) people got saved and took water baptism. We thank God for that.

III. BIBLES TRANSLATION SURVEY TRIP:

March 7-12, I led Bibles International Bible Translation survey team to Southern Chin State and Naga Hills. We went to Kanpalet town which is in Southern Chin State and met with the Dai Chin leaders and the Uppu Chin leaders. Both of them do not have written language and the Bibles International did a primer for them and now they do need a

Bible in their own language. They are about only 6000 people with

only about 300 Christians. They do not have written language. They do need a primer and a Bible in their own language.

IV. OUTREACH PLAN WITH SOLDIES OF JESUS CHRIST:

On March 26, we invited 8 soldiers who are in different battle fields to come to the Soldiers of Jesus Christ Mission Training Center for a special fasting prayer for their ministry. We had a very good time of fellowship; we prayed together, we encouraged each other to go forward for the ministry. I encouraged them to look upward and go forward. They are committed young people.

There are some other soldiers of Jesus Christ, but they are in far away mission fields. I have a great hope for Myanmar mission with those young committed Soldiers of Jesus Christ. The work here in Myanmar goes well steadily by His power and grace. I really appreciate for your prayer support and financial support. Yours in His vineyard, Timothy Sui Lian Mang Servant of the Lord
