SWAGGER MAGNIFIED! Beginning on September 1, host Cheryl Smith began revealing her list of men who she deems to be full of swagger. What does she mean when she says “swagger magnified?”

“These are men who exemplify strength, intelligence, compassion, wit, consciousness, charm, faith,” says Ms. Smith.

So every day, until the end of the year, she will reveal her pick of the day. And she also picks someone who is no longer living that she salutes.

“There are men who have made the transition who exemplify all the characteristics of swagger magnified,” she explained.

And while there are listeners and friends on FaceBook who try and share their thoughts, Ms. Smith says she is the only one who makes her choices and sometimes it is not easy.

“I refuse to be swayed by anyone and I do give careful consideration to my selections,” she continued. “I have surprised Kelly Kel and Phyllis J, and I like doing that!”

About Kelly Kel

I am blessed and truly grateful to have this opportunity to minister to the masses through spiritual talk and music. I love people and I know my calling. I truly trust the Lord with all my heart and he has stayed true to his word and his promises. As a child I loved to write and read so I am not surprised at the direction God and the journey he has placed before me. My career began in this industry as a Production Assistant with the DFW Film Commission in 1994 while achieving my Bachelor's Degree in

Mass communications at Texas Woman's University. I worked on several small music video projects in the area until graduation from TWU in 1998. I began freelance work with Mr. Boomtown a movie and music video director from Dallas, Texas. I held several positions with him; casting director, location manager, and production assistant. In 2003, I decided to try my luck at directing so I wrote, produced and directed my first low budget indie called "Confessions of a Playa." I won third place at the Dallas Black Film Festival in 2007, for a Teen HIV awareness short film called “Brian's Choice” and in 2009 our second feature "Black Angels" was completed.

About Phyllis J Phyllis J. is excited to host DFW Gospel Grooves with Kelly Kel. After recently relocating ‘back’ from Los Angeles, she has found a new home at DFWiRadio.com. Although new to radio and DFW Gospel Grooves, Phyllis J is looking forward to working with this “music ministry” to bring inspirational music and messages to the four corners of the world. Phyllis J. h a s w o r k e d i n t h e entertainment industry for the last 15 years in both Texas and California. She graduated with a B.B.A. in Systems Analysis, from the University of Texas at Arlington.

(Proverbs 18:16) A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.

(James 1:17) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
