Our Milestone Kids series is called I GIVE THANKS! In our series, we will learn all about living a life of thankfulness. MEMORY VERSE Our Scripture Memory Verse for the series is Psalm 100:4 – “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; Bless His name! BIG IDEA Our Big Idea for this week is: I Give Thanks For God’s Plan For My Life! BIBLE READING Read: Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 8:28, Acts 16:16-36. In Acts, we see that Paul was thrown in prison. In the middle of a tough situation, Paul chose to give thanks to God through praising Him. Paul trusted that God would make all things, even being thrown in prison, work together for his good and God’s glory! APPLICATION Talk about what it takes to bake a cake - If you want to bake a delicious chocolate cake, you have to take some yummy ingredients like chocolate chips, milk, and sugar… but also some yucky ingredients like vegetable oil, cocoa powder, and flour and mix it together. On their own, those ingredients taste gross, but when they are all mixed together, they make something wonderful.

I GIVE THANKS FOR GOD’S PLAN FOR MY LIFE!

The same is true for our lives. God takes all of the good, and all of the not-so-good, and He makes them all work together for our good! PRAYER Dear God, thank you that you have a good plan for my life. Thank you that you make all things work together for my good. I trust you with my life. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.
