Building Excavation - In preparation for concrete, all elevations, grading, form layout (with clearance) andproper concrete truck access are to be verified before the excavator leaves the site. 709 Electrical Specifications Complete electrical system per plans to include the following. Install temp pedestal to be operational at time ofconcrete. Coordinate and schedule with local utilities for power hook up. Include Carbon Monoxide Sensorsper 2012 code. Install hardwired appliances. Supply required power to fireplaces, water heaters, furnace’s, A/C’s and etc. per plans and specs. Panels to be Square D (Homeline or QO) and are to have at least 5 sparebreaker spots in each panel for future expansion. House Panel and Meter base to be sized to cover acompletely finished home and have at least 5 spare breaker spots in each panel for future expansion(Minimum 200 Amp), Sub Panel in basement (Minimum 100 Amp). 913 Cabinets The Cabinet contractor will be responsible for cabinet design. It is recommended that in addition to completedesign drawings, a design checklist be used to verify specific design features such as, pull-outs, spice racks,cutting boards, cookie sheet racks and any other specialty items. If an item such as a pull-out or other itemdesired by the owner is desired but was not supplied and a design checklist was not used, it may become thecabinet contractor’s responsibility to make the requested changes at no cost to the owner or B&B Builders. Design checklist should be submitted to the G.C. along with design drawings. Sample doors in each color anddoor style shall be submitted to the G.C. for owner’s approval. Finishes are not to be applied without anapproved door sample. Include cabinet sub tops at granite and tile cabinet top locations. Cabinets to beinstalled after finished flooring as a standard. A count and allowance for cabinet hardware shall be included inbid. Provide heavy duty “Tandem Softclose” guides for stability on pullouts at trash bins, spice racks can useball bearing guides when required due to space restrictions. When installing cabinets cut and reinstall basenext to cabinets. Include Installation of Cabinet Knobs and Pulls. All items on drawing to be included in price(i.e. metal tops, clavos, mirrors, range hoods and etc.) unless noted otherwise. Verify all plumbing, HVAC,Electrical and etc. locations will not interfere with cabinetry before drywall is installed. Include cut out for sinks,faucets and etc. in supplied finish countertops. Cabinets to be installed on a true plane and level to within 1/8”in 10’ Cabinet faces more than 1/8” out of line and corners more than 3/16” out of line are excessive. Cabinettops to be no more than 3/8” in 10’ out of parallel with the floor. All cabinets are to be shimmed and set square,level and plumb. Scribe pieces are to be coped and fit tight at all locations.
