I can’t describe how much fun this trip was to me and how much I have learned from it. Thank you Girl Guides of Canada for making this trip possible.

I loved being a guide for a number of reasons like: my leaders were VERY nice, our unit did a lot of fun things and I will DEFINITELY join next year.

When we arrived at Buckingham Palace, the police officer there was trying to move the crowd, and yelled "Everyone except for the Girl Guides, move out of the way." Talk about feeling important! I guess that's one of the many perks of being a Girl Guide!

Behind us were many guiding memories - ahead of us opportunities to share what we learned and experienced with girls in our units and districts. Hopefully the Guiding experience fuelled the girls with a greater understanding of Guiding around the world and what a joyful and necessary part of life it can be.

It has been a great experience and really opened my eyes to how big the Guiding sisterhood is and though we are far from one another we are all connected. It also helped me see all the things you can do in Girl Guides.
