SYNOPSIS

Ethan Schwartz’s wife, Kristi, is stranded in a far away city on a work trip. This has created the perfect window of opportunity for Ethan to find a prostitute to help him pass the evening. Carmen arrives, and is every-thing that Ethan could have hoped for. They make swift progress towards the task at hand, when Ethan’s landline rings. A sudden confusing development puts a wrench in Ethan’s plans, and he has to clean up and make Carmen disappear. However, Carmen doesn’t want to leave. The tension escalates as Ethan considers all of the viable ways to change Carmen’s mind.

CASTCARMEN - NAACP Theater Award winner, ERICA ASH, is a native of At-lanta, Georgia and a pre-med Graduate of Emory University. A passionate performing artist, her skills include: acting, comedy, writing, singing, mod-eling, dancing and choreography. Truly blessed to have had opportunities to share her various talents with family, friends and fans around the globe in such places as Japan, India, Korea, Bermuda, The Virgin Islands, Swit-zerland, Germany and over half of the United States. Her credits include: Theater - The Lion King (Nala); Spamalot (Lady of the Lake); Love Loss and What I Wore; Baby It’s You (Micki, Dionne Warwick); The Women Of Brews-ter Place (Tee {won Ovation Award}); TV – MADtv (Season 14: cast member and writer) and The Big Gay Sketch Show (Seasons 1 & 2: cast member)

ETHAN SCHWARTZ - SCOTT CASPER is the Artistic Director of Taxdeduct-ible Theatre, an independent theatre company dedicated to developing the uniquely theatrical voice of its community through collaboration. For the company, he works as a producer, director, writer and performer. He is currently leading the development of a full length play to be premiered in the fall of 2012. Most recently, he can be seen performing alongside James Franco in Jay Anania’s Shadows & Lies, currently on DVD.

SHIRLEY - XOSHA ROQUEMORE is an actress hailing from LA, but she calls NYC home. With a breakout role as JoAnn in “Precious” and a supporting role in the upcoming comedy “Price Check” she has consistently worked as a guest star on numerous network shows. She just wrapped her first series regular role on MTV’s newest pilot “Dumb Girls”. Xosha graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama.

KRISTI SCHWARTZ - RAINE HILAI is a singer, actress, dancer and song-writer. She was born on November 9th in Haifa, Israel. She began taking singing, acting and dancing lessons at a young age and has been studying with a private coach ever since. Raine has performed in theatre produc-tions and in films, and some of her favorite roles include Mimi in Rent, Velma Kelley in Chicago, Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar, Anita in West Side Story, Viola in Twelfth Night, Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Jackie-O in The House of Yes, and Harper in Angels in America. She has also been part of many short and independent film productions.

FILMMAKERSWRITER /DIRECTOR - TONY DUCRET, a New York City transplant of 10 years, is originally from Houston, Texas. In 2000 he graduated from Wes-leyan University’s Film department in Middletown, Connecticut. Since leaving Wesleyan, Tony has directed 4 short films, including the award winning “Jackpot!” (www.jackpotmovie.net), and 1 feature, “Hospitality”, a psychological thriller, available nationwide on DVD (www.hospitality-themovie.com). Tony has primarily worked in television while pursuing his screenwriting and independent filmmaking.

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY - SALVADOR BOLIVAR, Attended The School of Visual Arts, where he majored in film production. Salvador also studied at the Tisch School of the Arts at N.Y.U. University in an intensive course study of Cinematography. Salvador began as a Cam-era Assistant and shortly their after crossed over to the lighting depart-ment, where he felt more comfortable in developing his craft. After seven years as a Lighting Technician Salvador moved to Cinematography and has worked on over 3 dozen Independent films, numerous Music Videos, and a Handful of Commercials.

PRODUCER - LARRY OSSEI-MENSAH a.k.a Young Global is a media, ad-vertising and entertainment veteran whose stints at Sony Music, Clear Channel, Fox TV and Carat Media have all served as a dynamic backdrop for his colorful career as a film producer. Born and raised in the Mecca of independent film - New York City, Ossei-Mensah has established himself as an industry connector with a uniquely rich perspective that positions him to be a linchpin and a prominent voice for the rising creative class.

PRODUCTION DESIGNER - ANDREA PURCIGLIOTTI is a production de-signer and scenery artist in the film and print industries. She is a mem-ber of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local 829. She owns a set design company, Damage Studios, in New York City. She has worked for most of the top production companies and entertainment networks, publications and has a high profile clientèle. She has a vast knowledge of the ins and outs of the entertainment industry’s vendors, employees and resources.

COMPOSER - KEITH WITTY is a bassist, composer, producer and educator. He has performed throughout North America, Europe, Africa and Asia with a diverse range of artists: Genre-Defying singers such as Amel Larrieux, Somi, Pyeng Threadgill and Jeremiah. Keith’s collaboration with Grammy-Nominated singer/songwriter Amel Larrieux began in 2007. He has since toured extensively with Amel, and played on her acclaimed “Lovely Stan-dards” release. Keith has worked as an educator for more than ten years in partnerships with many of NYC’s most progressive community-based pro-grams. He holds a BA from Wesleyan University and an MA from the City College of New York.

COSTUME DESIGNER - TYSHA AMPADU has worked with notable celebri-ties like recording artist Lil Flip, iconic rap group Naughty By Nature, Ray J, 36 Mafia, Lyfe Jennings, Jordan Sparks, Lloyd, Lil Mama, R&B recording Joe, Tristian Wilds, Angel Taylor of Trin-i-tee 5:7, Jordan Sparks and Top Model contestant Toccarra Jones. She’s also work on various television projects such as MTV’s TRL, and Late Night with Carson Daily, NBC’s Las Vegas, and Showtime at The Apollo. As head stylist of the BET Network for 4 years, (2005-2009) she provided wardrobe for TV personalities Free, AJ, Big Tigger, Julissa Bermudez, Jeff Johnson, Rocsi, Terrence J, Melyssa Ford and Sharon Carpenter. She is currently head of the wardrobe for the Music Choice Channel.
