Windows Live Mail Setting 1, Click “Account” -> “email”

2, Input your e-mail address, password & display name for your sent message, then press “Next” for auto configuration, or tick “Manually configure server setting”

3, Please follow below configuration, then press “Next”

4, e-mail account created, press “Finish” to enjoy i-CABLE e-mail service.

Advance setting for Windows Live Mail 5, Right click the e-mail account, select “Properties”

6, In “Advance” page, you may make following changes - Server Timeouts: You may extend the time in case you unable to send / receive e-mail due to

server timeout

- Delivery: If you tick “Leave a copy of messages on server”, the e-mail will keep at our server even received by your e-mail client. Additional charge will occur if you exceed the 8MB free storage.

Macintosh Mail Setting 1, Click “Mail” under MAC OS.

2, Select “Add Other Mail Account” then press “Continue”.

3, Fill in the information then press “Create”

4, Press “Continue”

5, Verify the inputted information then press “Next”.

6, Confirm the Account Type: POP, Mail Server: mail.i-cable.com, then press “Next”.

7, Confirm the Port: 110, Authentication: Password, then press “Next”.

8, Leave the “User Name” and “Password” blank under Outgoing Mail Server Info, then press “Create” to create the e-mail profile.

Advance setting for Macintosh Mail 9, To avoid additional charge occur due to keep message on our server, you may change the e-mail setting. Right click the e-mail profile then select “Edit”.

10, In “Advance” page, enable “Remove copy from server after retrieving a message”.

11, Select you preferred options of delete period.

12, Click “Save” to apply the setting.

Clearing up your account storage Clear up incoming mail (POP3) server storage - Windows

1, Right click the e-mail account, select “Properties”

Clear up incoming mail (POP3) server storage – Macintosh 9, In MAC Mail, right click the e-mail profile then select “Edit”.

Clear up Webmail storage 1, Login Webmail at http://webmail.i-cable.com/en_US_base/

2, System notice the current storage, select unwanted e-mail than click “Delete”

3, Also empty the “Junk Mail” & “Trash” then “Logout”
