car range. This warranty comes with unlimited mileage on

all Hyundai passenger cars not used for taxi or private hire

Components replaced under the terms of the warranty shall continue to have the benefit of the unexpired portion of the warranty only. In addition the Hyundai iLoad includes one years Hyundai RAC Assistance. To retain full warranty cover and where appropriate, Hyundai RAC Assistance, regular servicing of the vehicle in compliance with the maintenance schedule is necessary. This is chargeable to the customer.

Any component forming part of the original vehicle specification manufactured by Hyundai Motor Company or supplied by Hyundai Motor UK Ltd (except tyres and accessories), which are found to be defective as a result of a manufacturing defect during normal usage of the vehicle will, at the discretion of Hyundai Motor UK Ltd, be repaired or replaced, at no cost to the vehicle owner. Components replaced under the terms of the warranty shall continue to have the benefit of the unexpired portion of the warranty only. In addition the Hyundai iLoad includes one years Hyundai RAC Assistance. To retain full warranty cover and where appropriate, Hyundai RAC Assistance, regular servicing of the vehicle in compliance with the maintenance schedule is necessary. This is chargeable to the customer.

Since 1 March 2001 all new cars registered have a VED (Vehicle Excise Duty, generally referred to as Road Fund Licence) based on fuel type and CO2 emissions.

Useful informationAt Hyundai, we want to make choosing the right car as easy as possible, so weve set out the following helpful and useful descriptions of abbreviations, Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) band structure and insurance information.

Understanding P11D values: P11D value is the retail price of the car including VAT and factory delivery (including the VAT on that delivery), but excluding Road Fund Licence and Vehicle First Registration Fee.

Tax is payable on any factory fit or dealer fit options or accessories fitted before customer delivery.

Tax is payable on dealer fit accessories fitted after delivery totalling more than 100. Tax will be payable in the tax year in which they were fitted.

No tax is payable on telephone hands-free kits or equipment to enable a disabled person to use the car, or for accessories required to enable the employee to do their job, for example, a tow bar where the employee has to tow a trailer on company business.

The method to calculate your company car tax costs in 2010/2011 depends on the vehicles P11D price, CO2 emissions and fuel type. For example, petrol or diesel.

As an example, in 2010 a Hyundai i30 (2010 MY) Comfort 1.6 CRDi 115PS 5dr manual, with a P11D price of 14,245 and CO2 emissions of 119g/km will attract a tax charge of 13% of its P11D value.

Therefore 14,245 x 13% provides a taxable value 1,851, equating to an annual tax bill of 370.20 (30.85 per month) for a 20% tax payer, or 740.40 (61.70 per month) for a 40% tax payer.

All diesel vehicles registered on or after 1st January 2006, are subject to a 3% charge due to diesel models having higher emissions of local pollutants.

Understanding insurance group ratings: The different insurance groups available range from group 1 (the lowest) to group 50 (the highest). Most family cars fall into groups 10 to 25, unless they have high powered engines. If you have a sports car, or high risk vehicle, then the group rating will be higher. So the lower the group rating, the less your car insurance premium costs!

Passenger car insurance group ratings are quoted based on the new industry standard scheme that measures vehicles on a 1-50 scale (previously 1-20). The new scale was introduced to allow more comprehensive consideration of vehicle price, equipment level, performance, security and replacement part costs. Adoption of the 1-50 scale will be mandatory from December 2009. Commercial vehicle ratings will continue using the 1-20 scale until further notice.

From April 2010 anyone buying a new vehicle will pay a different rate of VED for the first tax disc (first-year rate). The first-year rate is included in the On The Road price. For the second years Road Fund Licence onwards the standard rate is applicable.

Passenger Cars

A Six or Ten Year Anti-perforation Warranty against perforation of the bodywork from the inside of the panel outwards.

Light Commercial Vehicles
