a. 3 cells (50.0%) have expected count less than 5. The minimum
expected count is .44.
Analysis and Interpretation:
The Calculated value of chi-square for 2 degree freedom at 5% level of
significance is 1.287. The P-value (critical value) .526, is more than 5% level
(0.05) (i.e. 526>.05) Hence our hypothesis is accepted .The conclusion is that, perception of respondents about real estate contribute in
growth and development of Indian economy is independent on their qualification
. Which means either the respondent is undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate
is having same perception. .

N of Valid Cases 55
a. 2 cells (33.3%) have expected count less than 5. The minimum
expected count is .49.
Analysis and Interpretation:
The Calculated value of chi-square for 2 degree freedom at 5% level of
significance is .982. The P-value (critical value) .612, is more than 5% level (0.05)
(i.e. 612>.05) Hence our hypothesis is accepted.
The conclusion of this hypothesis is that the people gives more preference onthere choice because purchasing home is a dream of individual , which is mostly
one time investment. Therefore , preference for selection of residential home is
independent from there income. Which means people will be any group of
income is having more than 1,00,000 income or less than , gives more preference
to his choice.

Analysis :
Analysis on the basis of occupation , It is found that (Table -1 ) maximum number
of respondent are from business class i.e 45.5% , The next group i.e approximately

8/6/2019 Hypothesis and Analysis
15/21
The interpretation of this analysis is that person whose annual income are below
1,00,000 are more intresting in purchasing flatsas compare to those person whose
income is above 1,00,000 .The reason behind this is that people are below 1,00,000
they always stores money for future aspects so there bank balance and fixed
deposits are involved in purchasing flats and the tax paid to the government for
home loan should be less also. Where as person who are above a package of above
1,00,000 are rich but their expense is also according to their lifestyle and those
person have been imposed a heavy tax for purchasing a flat those person are less in
numbers.

Correlation
1. There are 55 sample sizes in our study. The annual income of the
respondents was correlated for their preferences to selection of residential
home.

The analysis of above table, it reveal that r = .050. A correlation of 0 indicates no relation
between the two variables or very low relationship. The p-values = .719 at a= 5% level of

Generally attitude of the people that , they are having high income prefer to
purchase a big house (villas) and less income prefer to purchase small home
(apartment). So we are created correlated between there 2 variables but it is
proved that there is no correlation between 2 variables.

The analysis of above table, it reveal that r =.054 A correlation of 0 indicates no relation
between the two variables or very low relationship. The p-values =.695 at a= 5% level of
