THE MIRACLE POWER OF REPEATED WORDS

    AND THOUGHTS

By Remez Sasson,Author of Visualize and Achieve

Thinking is usually a mixture of words, sentences, mental imagesand sensations. Thoughts are visitors, who visit the central station

of the mind. They come, stay for a while and then disappear making

space for other thoughts. Some of these thoughts stay longer, gain

power and affect the life of the person thinking them.

Lot of people let thoughts connected with worry, fear, anger or

unhappiness occupy their mind most of the time. They keep engaging

their mind with inner conversation about negative situations andactions. This inner conversation eventually affects the subconscious

mind, making it accept and take seriously the thoughts and ideas

    expressed in those inner conversations.

It is of vital importance to be careful of what goes into the

subconscious mind. Words and thoughts that are repeated often get

stronger by the repetitions, sink into the subconscious mind and affect

the behavior, actions and reactions of the person involved.

The subconscious mind regards the words and thoughts that get

lodged inside it as expressing and describing a real situation, and

  • 8/12/2019 Hypnotique July 2014

    3/16

    -3-

therefore endeavors to align the words and thoughts with reality. It

works diligently to make these words and thoughts a reality in the life

of the person saying or thinking them.

This means that if you often tell yourself that it is difcult or

impossible to acquire money, the subconscious mind will accept your

words and place obstacles in your way. If you keep saying that you are

rich, it will nd ways to bring you opportunities and push you towards

    taking advantage of these opportunities.

The thoughts that you express through your words shape your life. This is often done unconsciously, as few pay attention to their thoughts

and the words they use while thinking, and let outside circumstances

and situations determine what they think about. Here the outside world

    affects the inner world.

If you consciously choose the thoughts, phrases and words that

you repeat in your mind, your life will start to change. You will begin

creating new situations and circumstances. You will be using thepower of afrmations.

Afrmations are sentences that are repeated often during the day,

and which sink into the subconscious mind, thereby releasing its

enormous power to materialize the intention of the words and phrases

in the outside world. This does not mean that every word has the power

to make changes. The words have to be said with attention, intention

and with feeling, in order to trigger the subconscious mind into action.

Afrmations have to be phrased in positive words in order to be

effective. Consider the following two sentences:

    1. I am not weak anymore.

    2. I am strong and powerful.

Though both sentences seem to say the same thing in differentwords, the rst one is a negative sentence. It creates in the mind a

mental image of weakness. This is a wrong wording. The second

sentence awakens in the mind a mental image of strength.

  • 8/12/2019 Hypnotique July 2014

    4/16

    -4-

It is not enough to say an afrmation a few times, and then expect

your life to change. More than this is necessary. It is important to afrm

with attention, as well as with strong desire, faith and persistence. It isalso important to choose the right afrmation for any specic situation.

You need to feel comfortable with it; otherwise the afrmation may not

work or may bring you something that you do not want.

Afrmations can be used to strengthen the process of creative

visualization, and they can be used on their own. They are of special

importance for people who nd it difcult to visualize. In this case they

are a substitution to creative visualization.

Instead of repeating negative, useless words and phrases in the

mind, you can choose positive words and phrases to help you build

the life you want. By choosing your thoughts and words you exercise

control over your life. Here are a few afrmations:

    * Day by day, in every way, I am becoming happier and more

satised.* With every inhalation I am lling myself with happiness.

    * Love is lling my life now.

    * The power of the Cosmos is lling my life with love.

    * A lot of money is owing now into my life.

    * The power of the Universal Mind is now lling my life with wealth.* The powerful and vital energy of the Cosmos is owing and lling

    my body and mind.

    * Healing energy is constantly lling every cell of my body.

    * I always stay calm and in control of myself, in every situation

    and in all circumstances.

    * I am having a wonderful, happy and fascinating day.

HOW TO CURE YOUR BODY AND MIND

    THROUGH DREAM PROGRAMMING

By Jim Frances / Source: Real Mind Power Secrets

The mind does not make an appearance within physical reality,

but the brain is based in physical reality. Our dreams occupy the

same space as the mind -- that is, no space at all. The images that

appear in dreams appear as forms in other realities and they are

not restricted by our physical reality rules of time, space and growth.

They involve the materialization of spontaneous constructions whichwould normally not occur in our physical world.

Dreams are a continuous owing process which run continuously

in the wide awake and the dream states.

While we are in the wide awake state they run subconsciously. The

materializations we create in our dreams have no mass in our physical

reality but may have the equivalent of mass in other realities. In thedream state the personality is molded and changed via actions that

do not exist in the physical universe.

These dream based subjective events eventually manipulate

physical matter and events for the individual concerned, depending

upon how they have consciously or subconsciously programmed

    their dreams.

One persons dream affects anothers and that person is in turn

affected by the neighbors dreams. In many cases dreams (in slightly

different formats) are shared by two or more people and in some cases

close-knit communities have shared mass dreams.

We have mass dreams that occur just above the level relating to

the collective unconscious. If we are able to tune in to these dreams

(and some individuals can) we would gain an impression of whatour society is collectively dreaming -- which would then give us an

indication of future events, as our dreams format our future, both

    individually and collectively.

  • 8/12/2019 Hypnotique July 2014

    6/16

    -6-

Sometimes these collective dreams contain enough power to

signicantly alter the future, for better or for worse. It is interesting to

note that the dreams of one very powerful individual can affect thedreams of thousands of other people and this type of individual is

capable of becoming a leader or Guru.

They generally become known in the dream state rst and are

recognized in the physical world later.

Through very intense emotional focus you can create a form then

project it to another person who may then perceive it. This may bedone consciously or unconsciously. The presence of this form can

now be detected by sensitive scientic instruments.

During the dreaming state your awareness is focused in another

reality that is in every way as permanent and valid as the physical

reality universe. During sleep only a small amount of your energy is

focused in the physical eld, enough to maintain the bodily functions

only. The dream universe is also composed of a molecular structure, but

takes up no space as we know it. It is continuous but your awareness

of it is normally limited to your sleep/dreaming periods.

The events in the dream reality are as meaningful as the events

in your physical world and indeed are interrelated. One affects the

other and vice versa. This is why it is possible (and extremely easy)

to program up dreams which have an almost immediate effect in yourphysical universe.

One of the easiest and most effective types of dream that you can

pre-program relates to your physical health. Sometimes a correctly

programmed dream can cause almost miraculous improvements to

your health in as little as 12 hours.

FAILURE IS THE SECRET TO SUCCESS

By Richard Branson - Source: Business Day

I recently hosted the annual Sunday Times Fast Track 100 event

at my Oxfordshire home. It brings together leaders from the 100

fastest-growing private companies in Britain, a number of leading

    entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs.

We spent the day listening to each other and sharing stories of

achievement and innovation. There was lots of laughter and some

great conversations. Looking at the people gathered around our

dinner table, I had a wonderful opportunity to reect on what makes a

successful entrepreneur. I found myself going back to basics: the three

key attributes that can make a real difference to a persons career.

While Ive touched on these points before, some of the

entrepreneurs stories highlighted them in new ways. If you have these

basics down, you can give your risky idea a go with the condencethat youre prepared to ride out any trying times ahead.

    1. Keep it simple

The best and most successful ideas are those that improve peoples

lives. Their founders often have a simple plan focused on a single

product or service, one that is prompted by frustration.

Paul Lindley, the founder of Ellas Kitchen, started his businessbecause he could not get his daughter to eat. He wanted to create

a convenient product that would make mealtimes fun for babies and

young children, along with their parents.

Paul came up with the idea of producing colourful, tactile pouches

lled with organic meals. The innovative recipes wowed parents

and toddlers alike, and took market leaders such as Heinz and Hipp

Organic in Britain by surprise, since their rather stale offerings reliedon glass jars and traditional avours. Ellas Kitchen has captured 19%

of the market in the UK and copycats are packaging their products

    in pouches.

    8/16

    -8-

As he told his story, it was clear that Paul truly loves his work. He

turned his momentary frustration about the difculty of feeding his

daughter into something that is making mealtimes more enjoyablefor families.

    2. If at rst you dont succeed...

Few rst ventures work out. It is how a novice entrepreneur deals

with failure that sets that person apart. In fact, failure is one of the

secrets to success, since some of the best ideas arise from the ashes

    of a shuttered business.

If you are an entrepreneur and your rst venture wasnt a success,

welcome to the club every successful businessperson has

experienced a few failures along the way. In the US, most investors

will look at an entrepreneurs past failures before making a decision,

not because they are worried about it but because they want to see

that the person can withstand the occasional knock. Resilience is

one of the hallmarks of an entrepreneur who stays in business in the

    long term.

Talking with the team who runs the Branson Centre in Johannesburg,

I was heartened by Dylan Jonsons story, as it shows that our

entrepreneurs are learning from their mistakes and building new

ventures. Dylan is a trained chef who started a restaurant, which then

failed because of poor planning. However, he has since launched his

next venture, A Thyme to Dine, which is a catering business that also

sells four types of chocolate balsamic reductions he developed whilerunning the restaurant.

This skill in identifying a winning formula despite his despair at

seeing his restaurant close marks Dylan as one to watch. Some of his

sauces and drink powders have been picked up by two national chains

in South Africa and he is looking to start international sales soon.

    3. Are you having fun yet?

If you dont like being an entrepreneur, youre doing it wrong. Whenyou cant wait to get to work in the morning and you are generally

having a good time, there is a far greater chance that youll create a

positive, innovative atmosphere and your business will ourish.

    -9-

Keith Bete, a Branson Centre entrepreneur, epitomises this attitude

perfectly. He founded Ubuntuism, a clothing venture based on Ubuntu,

an African humanist philosophy that focuses on building a peaceful, prosperous community where riches are shared and people are treated

with respect. His passion and enthusiasm is infectious: everyone he

met at the conference wanted to buy a T-shirt and learn more about

    his company.

    THREE PRINCIPLES OF CONFRONTATION

(Confrontation is not about putting the other person down or

    throwing them off balance).

Confrontations are hard. They are difcult because they often

leave a bad taste. The person you are confronting may choose to

deny, disagree, resist, or if hes sincere, there may be an apology,

but its never a pleasant conversation by any stretch of imagination.

It could be between a manager and a worker, between two partners,parent-child, two friends, between teams or even governments. Let

us see the three golden principles of confrontation.

    1. Dont raise your voice

Its absolutely critical to not shout if you want any positive

outcome. Think about this:we confront someone because we want

them to listen to us and accept that they acted irresponsibly or it caused

us pain. The only chance you have of getting them to listen to you isby not raising your voice. Why? Human mind is naturally open to

pleasant conversations. When you keep your voice low, they may

disagree but their brain wont allow them to shut you out. The primary

difference between a conversation and an argument is the pitch and

tone of the voice. Disagreement may be there in both the cases but

in an argument, both parties are talking when none is listening. When

you shout at anyone, they immediately turn off and withdraw. Their

mind shifts from conversing to completely avoiding the issue or beingdefensive. On the other hand, if you talk about it in your normal tone,

you may feel they havent understood the seriousness of the situation,

but your words will nd a way into their mind.

  • 8/12/2019 Hypnotique July 2014

    10/16

    -10-

    2. Dont attack

Remember, the goal of any confrontation is to have the other

person see your perspective and to have them cease from acting

a certain way. You cant accomplish this by putting them down or

attacking them. Give them a chance to save their face. Start with

the assumption that they made a mistake. Without violating the rst

principle, if you keep the focus on how their actions are hurting you

and the relationship, or, how its not in their own best interest, they are

likely to listen to you better. But when we attack the other person by

saying, you did this and you did that, you are like this and you are likethat and so on and so forth, we create a giant barrier and now they

are on the other side of the fence. They turn defensive and to protect

themselves, they launch a counter-attack. This defeats the purpose,

the distance increases, and both people end up angrier.

    3. Dont deviate

This is the hardest of the three. Often, when we confront

someone, they want to evade the issue. To avoid any explanations, apologies or consequences, theres a natural tendency to deviate

from the real issue. If both get carried away, it becomes impossible

to retain any sense or sensibility in the confrontation. It will quickly

turn into a heated argument or a violent disagreement. When the

other person digresses, just hear them out, let them nish and then

politely persist with the primary issue because if you deviate as well,

itll become a pointless argument resulting in a lot of talk but no

conclusion. It is paramount to stay focused and to keep it to the point.

For example, if you want to confront someone about being late,

only talk about the present instance. Dont start talking about

how they are always late, how they are not efcient or competent

    and so on.

Once again, bear in mind that the objective of any confrontation is

to make the other person aware of their certain actions you disapprove

of. It is not to demean or deprecate them. Therefore, your selection ofwords, tone, gestures and timing will make a huge difference to the

outcome. That said, if you have to confront someone more than

a couple of times over the same issue, theres little hope theyll

  • 8/12/2019 Hypnotique July 2014

    11/16

    -11-

ever mend their ways because for the wise and sincere, even a

subtle hint is more than enough.

If the other person is not willing to come clean, no conversation

or confrontation, however done, can yield any result.

A friend approached Mulla Nasrudin to borrow his donkey for a

    few hours.

But, I dont have my donkey. It ran away last night, said Mulla,

    and, I cant nd him.

His friend looked at him skeptically. Mulla maintained an afrmativeand quiet mien. Just then the donkey started to bray loudly.

Mulla! I can hear your donkey in your house. You lied to me! I

    thought we were friends.

Exactly! Are you telling me you trust a donkeys braying more than

    your friends words.

Life is colorful because of the various shades; not all colors

can be white, not all can be red or black; not all dialogues can be

pleasant or desirable. Success in relationships professional

and personal depends a great deal on your ability to handle

difference of opinions and on how you hold unpleasant

conversations. May you confront confrontations happily !

WHY DO PEOPLE SHOUT IN ANGER ?

A saint asked his disciples, Why do we shout in anger? Why do

people shout at each other when they are upset?

Disciples thought for a while; then, one of them said, Because we

lose our calm, we shout . But, why to shout when the other person

is just next to you? asked the saint. Isnt it possible to speak to him

or her in a normal voice? Why do you shout at a person when youre

    angry?

Disciples gave some other answers but none satised the saint.

  • 8/12/2019 Hypnotique July 2014

    12/16

    -12-

Finally, he explained, When two people are angry at each other,

their hearts get distanced. To cover that distance they must shout

so as to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they willhave to shout to hear each other through that much more distance.

Then the saint asked, What happens when two people fall in love?

They dont shout at each other but talk softly, why? Because their

hearts are very close. The distance between them is very small...

The saint continued, When they love each other even more, what

happens? They do not speak, only whisper; they get closer to eachother in their love. Finally, they even need not whisper, they only look

at each other and thats all. That is how close two people are when

    they love each other.

MORAL: When you argue do not let your hearts get distant,

do not say words that distance each other more, else there will

come a day when the distance is so great that you will not nd

    the path to return.

    10 FAMOUS PEOPLE WHO SUCCEEDED

    LATER IN LIFE

    1) Sylvester Stallone :Sylvester Stallone was so broke that he

had to sell his wifes jewelry and then his dog to pay his bills. He onlybecame successful when the script for the movie Rocky was accepted

(And he was 30 at that time)

    2) Harrison Ford:He was a struggling actor and had to work as

a carpenter to pay his bills. He never saw real success before he was

    35

    3) J. K. Rowling (Author of Harry Potter series): She struggledfor years and her scripts got rejected until she managed to sell the rst

one in her mid thirties. She then became a billionaire a few years

    later!

    13/16

    -13-

    4) Steve Jobs:Even though Steves company became successful

at a young age he was kicked out of it when he was in his early thirties.

He had to start all over and managed to become successful onceagain in his mid thirties.

    5) Larry Ellison (Oracle): Larry had to work for a software

company until he was 34. It was then that he decided to start his own

business and within years he became a famous billionaire.

    6) Mark Pincus (Zynga):After moving from one failure to another

Mark discovered that his passion was in gaming. He started hiscompany Zynga quite late in life only to become a billionaire in his

    forties.

    7) Jack Dorsey (Twitter):After job hopping, Jack found his passion

in social networking. He started twitter and instantly became successful

    in his late thirties

    8) Susan Boyle:After struggling with crippling nancial difculties, partial mental handicap and death of her mother she became a famous

singer at the age of 47.

    9) Abraham Lincoln: Most probably he was the most defeated

man in the world. After losing so many times in different elections

he succeeded in becoming the President of the United States at the

    age of 51.

    10) Colonel Sanders(KFC): Thats probably the best example

you are going to see in your life about starting late. Colonel Sanders

started his idea when he was 65 years old and in a few years had

one of the largest restaurant chains in the world.

It would have been better if you made it earlier but being late doesnt

mean that you can never do it. Those were just some examples of

people who succeeded late in life just because they believed that agehad nothing to do with success. Once you develop that belief you will

be able to make it as well. It is never too late !

    LIZARD LOVE

This is a true story that happened in Japan.

In order to renovate the house, someone in Japan breaks open

    the wall.

Japanese houses normally have a hollow space between the

    wooden walls.

When tearing down the walls, he found that there was a lizard

stuck there because a nail from outside hammered into one of its

    feet.

He sees this, feels pity, and at the same time curious, as when

    he checked the nail,

it was nailed 5 years ago when the house was rst built.

The lizard has survived in such a position for 5 years in a dark

wall partition without moving. It was impossible and mind-boggling.

Then he wondered how this lizard survived for 5 years without

even moving a single step, since its foot was nailed.

So he stopped his work and observed the lizard, what it has

been doing, and what and how it has been eating.

Later, not knowing from where it came, appears another lizard,

    with food in its mouth.

Ah! He was stunned and touched deeply. Now he knew the

    answer.

For the lizard that was stuck by nail, another lizard has been

feeding it for the past 5 years...

Imagine it has been doing that untiringly for 5 long years, without

giving up hope on its partner.

A PRECIOUS GIFT INSIDE YOUBy Mr V J Thamizharasan

A wise woman who was travelling in the mountains found a

precious stone in a stream. The next day she met another traveller

who was hungry, and the wise woman opened her bag to share

her food. The hungry traveller saw the precious stone and asked

the woman to give it to him. She did so without hesitation. The

traveller left, rejoicing in his good fortune.

He knew the stone was worth enough to give him security for a

lifetime. But, a few days later, he came back to return the stone to

the wise woman. Ive been thinking, he said. I know how valuable

this stone is, but I give it back in the hope that you can give me
