How does HyperX work?

HyperX technology is the perect solution or long-range automatic

identication applications, providing unbeatable perormance and

reliability. Its guaranteed ability to detect ast moving ID-tags at distances

o up to 8 metres make it ideal or vehicular access control. Utilising

microwave requency technology, HyperX is unaected by adverse

weather conditions or electromagnetic intererence, providing unrivalled

consistency. Tags can be programmed with customer specic inormation

allowing easy integration or personnel access control systems.

In its simplest orm, the HyperX system consists o a reader and a vehicle

tag. A roadside mounted reader transmits pulses o high requency signal

within a specic zone. The tags are supplied as lightweight cards to place

within a holder mounted behind the windscreen. As the vehicle enters the

detection area the tag refects the signal to the reader adding its individual

tag ID. This data is sent to the host control system or a standalone controller,

such as Nortechs CRC100. The control system identies the access

privilege or individual vehicles and controls gates, barriers, bollards and

trac signals accordingly.
