TRANSCRIPT
It is a style of building systems for
organizing, structuring and
accessing information around a network of
multimedia nodes connected together by
links (Conclin, 1987).
It is nothing but a multimedia
packaged as educational computer
software where information is
presented and student activities are
integrated in a virtual learning
environment.
It is a computer-based
information retrieval system that
enables a user to gain or
provide access to texts, audio,
and video recordings,
photographs and computer
graphics related to a particular
subject.

interconnected using hyperlinks.
It is not constrained to be text-based.
It can include other media such as
graphics, images, and especially the
continuous media - sound and video
which are interconnected using
hyperlinks.
Educational IT applications
are hypermedia and these
include Tutorial Software

The learner may control
lesson pace, sequence,
content, or feedback.
Also, they control the
amount of practice, and
level of difficulty.
