A wide range of cushions made of polystyrene micro-particles, ideal for the postural positioning in the prevention of decubitus ulcers. The cover is made of bi-elastic polyurethane fabric that can be wiped clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent. In addition, almost all cushions are supplied with an extra cover made from bi-elastic polyurethane. Our postural cushions have been designed to fit various body shapes in compliance with a treatment protocol for the prevention of bedsores. They can be easily positioned for all patients in care.

Posture and Bedsores Prevention Cushions

RULES FOR A CORRECT POSTURE• In dorsal decubitus, lift the

upper body and the legs and form a 30º angle

• in lateral decubitus on the right or left, preference will be given to positioning the patient at 30º

• it is important that the perineum is not in contact with the mattress

• the legs must be flexed as little as possible at hip and knee level

• the higher leg needs to be positioned further back from the other leg with a 30º bend at the hips and 35º at the knee
