GREATER than the amount of energy that the hydrogen can produce because of the Law of Conservation of Energy.

Positives & Negatives2/3. Hydrogen is a renewable resource. When generated using “clean”

electricity, it has no harmful environmental impacts. Hydrogen is efficient when used in conjunction with wind turbines and solar panels as a way to store energy.The negatives associated with hydrogen all stem from the generation of hydrogen. Steam Methane Reformation and Electrolysis (when using traditional sources of electricity) lead to the emission of greenhouse gases.

Final Thoughts…

The day will come when gasoline will become too scarce and too expensive to use as a transportation fuel…The use of hydrogen fuel cell technology is going to be one PART of the alternatives that we will use to replace gasoline.
