total acres). The Hydrate Plus NF from TRC, is used at the rate of 1:800. That’s about 16oz Hydrate Plus NF, per 100 gallons water. We normally spray around 10 gallons of the water/chemical/surfactant mixture per acre.

Our experience is that chemicals such as Tilt, Bravo, Folicur, Abound, Moncut and Roundup can be reduced by a minimum of 33% from the chemical company’s recommended treat rate, when applied with TRC Hydrate Plus NF.

We have found this surfactant to be very effective in breaking down surface tension on the plant , providing excellent coverage. This product also keeps our spray nozzles very clean for accurate dispersal.

Based on the total number of sprayings per year, we have reduced our chemical costs on the farm operation, last year by at least $30,000.00 (this is approximately $9.67/acre). We found that we extend spray intervals using TRC Hydrate Plus NF, giving us extra time to use for other work.
